The Championship Belts on the Champions...

(Sorry for the crappy thread title, lol)

A huge pardon if I am mistaken but, aren't the current Championships in the WWE like, NOT "deluxe"? For example, I've noticed that the plaques on the US Championship look thin and real light and simple. Here's an image:

as opposed to an "ultra-deluxe" one where the medallions/plaques are thick like this:

.

I've also noticed it on the IC Belt as well, and WHC. If this is true, I feel as if the champions should have that gold prestigious belt. Make it seem more "cool".

Mass Production bro. They sell those things in the WWE shop, people want the real deal.. They want what the wrestlers have. They're already expensive now, think of how expensive they'd be if it would be top notch gold etc.

At least,thats what i'm thinkin

Yeah but what I'm saying is that the actual WWE Champions should hold the deluxe belt. If fans want to buy the strap, they could buy the non-deluxe one, unless of course they want the deluxe one.
I'm an engraver by profession and I can tell you, gold that thick isn't very easy to come by. It's much cheaper, especially if the item gets scratched, to use thin material. The name plate on that belt isn't even gold, it's brass. I know for a fact it is.

Jon
I got a chance to hold the IC Title at a meet and greet back when I was a Jeff Hardy mark and I can say it was heavy as shit.

Don't know about the US Title though.
