Promos where both people come out looking as good (if not better) than when they entered.

For me, nothing beats the promo featuring The Rock and Y2J.

Both guys were on fire during that promo, and Y2J was one of the very few that could go toe to toe with The Rock in terms of Mic Work.

I always enjoyed the Edge and Foley promo leading up to Edge's match with Taker at HIAC.

Other ones I can think of are:
Rock and Austin sit down promo with JR for WM.
Rock and Shane's promo when Shane kicks him out the Corporation.
Rock and Foley's promo confirming the I Quit Match.
Angle and Trips promos during the love triangle storyline.
HBK and Jericho's promo leading to Jericho's heel turn.
HBK and the McMahons promo deciding on who would face Austin - bigged up HHH, Taker and Bossman in that promo.
