There was some talks some time ago that the WWE want to pair james Mitchell with the Wyatts but we know bray wyatt don't need him. So maybe the WWE should pair james Mitchell with the The Ascension because he would add to them better than he would for the wyatt

Mitchell being paired with Rusev would be a much better suit, but then you are running the risk of endless comparisons being made to Abyss (not looks-wise obviously) who he managed in TNA.

Fuck it, who cares what they think, I wish they went with it anyway. Lana doesn't look right managing a huge, Bulgarian brute. Unfortunatley, it's all academic because this won't change.

In which case, why not? Mitchell fits the dark, primitive, evil image that The Ascension fit into, and they sound goofy as fuck whenever they cut a promo.
