out of all the times they tried to push rest hold Randy as a top guy, this run came the closest.

plus the T shirt design was cool



what's sad is that nine years after this, Orton is still winning the WWE title at Wrestlemania, such is the company's inability to create new stars.

Cool T shirt.
But I thought it was generally accepted that after Lesnar, Cena and CM, WWE just don't want to create any real wrestling star...

Orton would have been the top guy for WWE, but his bad conduct discharge from the Marines is something that will hang over his head for the rest of his life. If it wasn't for that, you might be seeing just as much of him as Cena as the FOTC. WWE, rightly so, cannot make someone with that baggage as their FOTC.
