In case anyone wonders they didn't really reveal anything specific on what their next moves will be. Some thing that sticked out for me:

1. Jericho's involvement in all this basically is that he vouched for Callis and D'amore. I didn't get any impression that Jericho is going to do anything more and doesn't look, understandably, very interested in Impact asides of Callis and D'amore being his friends.
2. It looks like "you can take your gimmick anywhere" was their idea and thats how they plan to build up some trust with independent wrestlers.
3. They'll still be using Universal studio, but it won't be a central place to their plans.
4. They mentioned how their idea is to build the show around 6-8 people while other talent might be regular indies that are appearing in many places. Alberto, Drake, Mundo were name dropped so safe bet that these 3 will be important going forward.
5. WWE-lite is a mistake and they won't try to do that. They will also try not to over-produce with promos and stuff like that, basically more creative freedom to talent.
6. They are planning to do some live events, but as I understand they are not going to rush it and they need to do some build up before that happens.
7. Callis will stay with NJPW commentating as long as NJPW wants him. He hopes that this will show that Impact is willing to work with other companies.

Overall I like how they talk, but we will see what the results are.

Thanks for the info on what the podcast was. I'll prob skip listening to it since it doesnt sound to exciting.

It will be very interesting to see what Scott and Don are allowed to do with this company.

Good minds but they might be restricted because of right budgets and such.

Meltzer and Mike Johnson have put over the interview as one of the best they've heard. Every time Callis talks he has this ability to sound like an intelliect, and he is as he has an MBA in finance.

Yeah, when he talks it feels like you should take notice of what he is saying. I'm not sure if thats more due to his intellect or him in general being good talker.

He has an MBA in finance and international business development. He knows when and where to spend and not to spend.

No, it's definitely his promo ability. He was an elite talker for ECW and WWF during the AE, before he earned his education. Check some of his ECW work if you want to familiarise yourself with him.

I know who he is, I watched him regularly on TNN when he was Heymans figure head as a Network rep. He has a Master of Business Administration degree and international development and has was the CEO of a finance company for 7 years. You combine that with 25 years of being a wrestling promoter in Scott D'Amore, I'd feel very optimistic.

It is both. He is a good speaker who has the intellect to back it up. He had the intelligence before he got the MBA. It was his intelligence that helped him earn it.

Don Callis is a fucking boss and I don't even watch NJPW or Impact. Callis is a smart mind and more importantly knows how to build heat, and does so very well. If TNA is in the hands of D'Amore and Callis now they could have a very exciting little patch coming up.

Best thing I heard in the podcast was they have a big picture for the next 18 months planned out. That's a big step already.
