Taker vs HHH Wrestlemania Trilogy

No since they never even mention there first match

No, I don't think so. In that case they would have had to have Trips go over Taker at Mania and that means ending the streak. Wasn't going to happen.

The epic third match with Rocky and Austin at Mania 19 was that The Rock HAD to beat him for the good of the business. It was magical.

I think HHH and Taker's first match has been forgotten about by many, but the other 2 have been pretty incredible.

not everything is a recreation of something before it HHH was the only one who could have followed up HBK's great matches with Taker. and well, The No Holds Barred and HIAC match stole the show in WM 27 and 28, so i guess it worked.

I never saw Triple H/Undertaker as a trilogy. I saw their first match as stand-alone and I saw their last 2 matches as part of a 4 year arc "End of an Era" including:

Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker Wrestlemania 28
Triple H VS Undertaker Wrestlemania 27
Triple H VS Undertaker Wrestlemania 28

yeah, this actually makes more sense. Their first match was more than 10 years ago and had little/nothing to do with their recent WM matches.

And well, this 4 year arc is great as we have waited one year for each of them and never been disappointed by the legendary matches.
