The WWE is really just cruising along until August, running constant PPVs with limited creativity, just focusing on multiple-person matches.

The Raw Extreme Rules PPV on 6/4 in Baltimore has Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns in a five-way for a shot at Brock Lesnar on the 7/9 Great Balls of Fire show in Dallas.

As it stands right now, the winner of this match is one-and-done with Lesnar. The plan, unless it changes, is for Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman as the main event, for the title, at SummerSlam, with the idea of building that as a major match.

Strowman right now, even though they say different publicly, is expected back in mid-July after minor elbow surgery, in plenty of time for SummerSlam.

Reigns, given that he’s already beaten Balor and Rollins clean, and is pegged for Lesnar at Mania, makes no sense to win this match. Well, actually beating Balor and Rollins clean if anyone else was booking would make him the favorite with the idea they are giving him the momentum. But there is no point in diluting WrestleMania going with him now. It could be any of the other four.

The rest of the announced show is Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz for the IC title where the title can change hands via DQ, Hardys vs. Sheamus & Cesaro in a cage match for the tag titles, Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley for the women’s title in a kendo stick on a pole match, Neville vs. Austin Aries for the cruiserweight title in a submission match and Rich Swann & Sasha Banks vs. Noam Dar & Alicia Fox. Other teased programs involve Kalisto, Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews in some form, as well as R-Truth vs. Goldust and there are some cruiserweight programs that could to a singles or multiple person match, as they are often on the pre-show.

The Smackdown Money in the Bank show on 6/18 in St. Louis announced the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank match. Last week we were told there would be two women’s matches on the show, but thus far only the MITB match was announced with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya and Tamina. Nobody else is left for Naomi. There was an Internet tease that Lana may be added to the MITB match.

Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton for the WWE title is the main event. The other MITB match is Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, A.J. Styles, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin. The Usos vs. New Day tag title match was also announced. They are starting to discount tickets in the local market for this show. The issue, as was the case with Chicago not selling out, is just how expensive the floor seats are now for PPV shows.

Attendance hasn't been bad at all, and even outdraw Raw on some weeks. Not sure where you pulled that info from.

Ratings are right in line with where they should be. Usually around 400,000 less than Raw, which is understandable since Raw is the flagship show.

Also, "nothing for SD"? Not even sure what you mean with this. All he did was go over ER and MITB. The ONLY thing he mentioned for SS was Braun vs Lesnar. Expect Styles, Nak, Owens, Orton and New Day to all be in high profile matches for SS.

Can't believe they're still going with Roman at WM again. And Strowman gains nothing from facing Lesnar. Everyone knows he's losing. Ugh

Vince logic in 2017: lets give those fans 4 months of pure filler to get to Brock squashing another potential star! That's best for business!

One year later, "big sweaty" Roman Reigns beats Brock for the belt at Mania to a chorus of boos, and Vince doesn't understand why less than 2 million people will now be watching his repetitive fetish show.

Where are they discounting MITB tickets? Certainly not on Ticketmaster. We have tickets and I've been watching for better seats and they still want over $1k for floor seats, nothing has been discounted that I've seen.

no way. Everyone will be so sick of brock that reigns will be catapulted to mega star, ratings will triple, revenue will double and we can all settle in for romans hotly anticipated years long chsmpionship.

We know about Brock VS Braun because of Meltzer. If anything, he is repeating his own news.

Jesus.
