HHH was just a victim of circumstance. Wrong place wrong time.

That's how I see it

I loved the ending but they should've had HHH attack/pedigree Reigns during the match and cost him the WWE title then it would've made more sense for HHH getting such a beating considering Reigns is a babyface and not a heel.
That would be to predictable.

HHH selling his ass off to get Roman over last night was best for business.

Hunter deserves the credit here not WWE booking.

Nothing at all. lol. That's why it seemed like a heel move. Triple H came across as very sympathetic towards Sheamus. After all he was getting his ass beat by Reigns with that chair. Reigns looked like a complete asshole.

It was HHH who gave Sheamus the opportunity to cash-in the MITB at Survivor Series.

Reigns has been so focused on Sheamus these last few weeks that he hasn't really set his sights on HHH. He's the puppet master over all, but it was also a case of Roman finally losing his shit after being fucked over since Mania. They really did a good job of making the TLC match looking like a match Roman deserved to win, then when he didn't he flipped his lid for a brief moment and HHH was the man who bore the brunt of that rage.

Thing is, this wasn't the culmination, this I think is the beginning of a Roman/HHH feud that will end at Wrestlemania.

I think last night was the most i've ever liked Roman and this is coming from a guy who HATED him a few months ago. All last night was missing was a cool one-liner from Reigns at the end.

Something like when Steph said "You'll pay for this Roman!" he just says something like "Send me the cheque, baby."

Hmmm... Let's see.

Breaking up the shield.
Assisting Seth to win the mitb (which would later be cashed in during Roman's match).
putting him through a tournament for the titles contendership while he was already the number one contender.
Costing him the title last month.
And costing him the title at TLC.

I'm pretty sure there are more.

But I think it was justified.

What?

HHH used Sheamus as a back up plan at Survivor Series in case Reigns refused to shake his hand, which he did.

Sheamus hit the ring immediately following HHH and won the title and had his arm raised aloft by him.

Sheamus and his geek squad then stopped Reigns reclaiming the title and as he's in the process of giving them a well deserved beating, the guy who is the root cause of all this shows up and tells him to stop. :HHH

If he hadn't of beat the shit out of him then it would have been a huge missed opportunity for WWE.

It made complete sense for once.

No storyline needed he just pulled a randy Orton or stone cold (not comparing the 2 calm down) and went the hell with this. His been kayfabe screwed over since mania. There's only so much you can take before you decide enough is enough

No, that was the beauty of the beating last night. That it came out of the blue
Triple h was a bully as a heel to everyone since 2013, everything he did justified it. Psychology-wise, It's classic badass-babyface 101. Something Goldberg would've done in his prime, same for Austin, Brock, Rock, Taker, etc..

I'm a fan of babyfaces taking action instead of waiting to take it up the ass then retaliating just to get sympathy. Personally speaking I'm sick of petty babyfaces

HHH did nothing wrong but thats cool since Reigns exploded like an atomic bomb so no reasons are necessary.

HHH has done plenty if shit to Reigns

1. Isn't HHH the one who tried to bribe Reigns before the Survivor Series tournament?

2. Isn't HHH the one who immediately stripped Reigns of a title shot he previously earned the moment Reigns didn't kayfabe kiss his ass?

3. Since when is attacking someone who spent a month making your life kayfabe difficult a heel move? Heels are supposed to get their comeuppance at some point to make the fans happy. Everyone who has put hands on Authority HHH got pops.

4. How stupid of a face would Reigns be to think HHH was shaking his hand on some legit stuff. That's Sting and Flair levels of dumb babyface.

5. Didn't HHH immediately ally himself with Sheamus the guy who took Reigns title?

So if HHH is already an antagonist to Reigns how is him doing a loose villain team up with Sheamus make him a face and Reigns the heel kayfabe wise?

STOP.....STOP.....JUST STOP.....for the love of ANYTHING logical the ENTIRE point of the MITB contract is the ADVANTAGE heel or face for said winner at least in kayfabe is the option when & where THEY cash in, not the so called boss or anybody else except said WINNER.

So this "idea" that it was HHH all along is like a fart in church like Roman's push with tater Tots it just NEVER goes over well. The E was DESPERATE to have a crowd who boo'ed BOTH champion & challenger to have Roman "look strong" and YES while what Roman did is the ONLY way to book him it does NOT change the fact that 2015 saw him use Nursery Rhyme, Loon Toons & Frozen Food catchphrase's that marked and UN-WANTED push towards the top.
