At Wrestlemania 18 the fans cheered him on instead of booing him. He supposed to be the heel as a NWO-member, but it was Hulkamania this and that all over the place. And his opponent was The Rock, who was the babyface of the WWE at that time.no
a lot of people hate Hulk Hogan for some reason
True. The Rock too,Fans hate The Rock gone to hollywood
Well, I'm a huge fan of Stone Cold, but I don't really agree with you on this. When Stone Cold was a heel, they were booing him. But they cheered Hogan while he was a heel. Well, at least that was the case when he returned to WWE back in 2002.But Stone cold always beloved by fans i don't know but i don't really care Steve austin tbh, always
What Austin you were watching in 2001? cause the Austin I remembered watching during that time frame was getting mix reactions 50% of the time during his Heel run. They did everything with Austin to try and make him be the biggest Heel ever by hugging Vince McMahon, have be turned to a stooge backstage with Kurt Angle, beat the hell out of women like Lita and Molly Holly, betray Vince McMahon and the WWE etc. and still the crowd cheered him? no one wanted to boo Austin. Stone Cold played his character well, but he pretty much failed to truly be hated, don’t get me wrong cause he got his fair share of “Asshole” chants target on him multiple times but overall that run kind of flopped as character perspective. No one was buying the act of Austin being a whiney bitch for Vince McMahon and that’s why every opportunity they get of hinting Austin turning Face, the crowd is heavily behind it.Well, I'm a huge fan of Stone Cold, but I don't really agree with you on this. This and there is really no other answer.Stone Cold. nearly no one hates him, unlike Hogan who has a lot of people who hate him
Austin is the GOAT as far as selling goes, but nowhere as talent goes. I'd take BPP over him anyday of the week and twice on sundays. I don't even think there's an argument about this.Austin, and rightfully so. He is the greatest of all time, after all.
