I know Sting ended up joining WWE in 2014 but if he could join any sooner in history when would be the ideal time ? For me it’s either 2003 (realistically) or 1993 (fan booking). 2003 he could’ve came in right with Goldberg, keep Goldberg on RAW and send Sting to SmackDown. Feuds with Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Big Show, John Cena, & Eddie Guerrero would have been great, even a one off showdown with The Undertaker. No doubt he probably would’ve had a WWE Title run at some point during that era.
Another era I could see him in is the New Generation, essentially replacing Luger and Warrior. Sting and Bret would have definitely been the Hogan and Macho of the New Gen era had Sting jumped around 93, but at that point he was overly loyal to WCW so I can’t realistically imagine him actually wanting to leave but the character fits so well for that time period.
