Yeah way too much hype for this match. I have never gotten the whole deal about this match. But its the only match Sting wants in WWE so hes gonna get it. Id much rather see Taker/Cena next year
If they give him a year off to get in shape, I doubt he would be as bad as he was in TNA.
He wont slum it for a Mania match with Undertaker. Why would a guy in his late 40s into his 50s give 100% for TNA of all companies.
He was only terrible during his last few years at TNA when he stopped putting in any effort to keep in shape as he aged. Obviously a FUCKING Wrestlemania match would be bigger than anything he's done in TNA so he'd be forced to put effort if he doesn't want to end up embarrassing himself.
He was so horrible that he was for many the only reason to watch TNA(even in 2013 and the beggining of 2014.I know many guys who dont watch TNA anymore after he left some months ago) .
This wasn't even a question of whether or not older guys could wrestle. It was a question of anther or not Sting could. He mostly can't anymore. Comparing a completely random guy to him on the basis of nothing more than age doesn't really make his case. Especially considering the guy you quoted didn't even mention age.
