Hey! This is my first review of several others of every PPV I've seen. I will rate each match by a simple star rating(No 0 Star Ratings). I will always give a brief description of my thoughts on each match.

1.The Assassins def. Rufus R. Jones & Bugsy Mcgraw

Easily the worst tag team match I've ever seen. Both teams looked like rookies out there and were just awful at wrestling. The finish was freaking awful. *

2.Kevin Sullivan & Mark Lewin def. Scott McGhee & Johnny Weaver

Not much better than the last one. It was just simple wrestling nothing exciting or anything. *

3.Abdullah The Butcher def. Carlos Colon

This one was like 5 minutes lol. The announcers just kept going on about how it was banned in Puerto Rico(I DON"T CARE). At least they bled. *

4.Bob Orton Jr. & Dick Slater def. Mark Youngblood & Wahoo McDaniel

Why so many tag matches? Anyways, this was the best match so far, but it was still horrible just a little less horrible than the other matches. It's cool seeing Orton fight here in WCW/NWA though. *

5.Charlie Brown def. Great Kabuki(c)

NWA Television Championship

Best match here so far, but once again terrible. It was only watchable because of Great Kabuki's athleticism. He weirdly enough wrestles just like Great Muta. *

6.Roddy Piper def. Greg Valentine-Dog Collar Match

At least it was brutal. I know many love this match just because of all the blood and brutality, but I just couldn't get that into it. Just because its brutal doesn't always mean its a good match. *

7.Ricky Steamboat & Jay Youngblood def. The Brisco Brothers(c)

NWA World Tag Team Championships

Finally a half decent match. Of course Steamboat stole the show in this one, and what came as a surprise to me was the mat wrestling skills of the Brisco Brothers. **

8.Ric Flair def. Harley Race(c)-Steel Cage

NWA World Heavyweight Championship

Why so many piledrivers? One is enough not two not three. The blade job was good, but the match while historical and nostalgic to someain boring and horrible to me. *

PPV Rating *

It was just horrible. In fact it has to be the worst PPV I've ever seen in my life. Say what you will, but this thing is just God awful and hard to watch.

This thread has got to be a joke. Orton and Slater vs. McDaniel and Youngblood was pretty good. Steamboat and Youngblood vs. the Briscoes was very good and Piper vs. Valentine and Flair vs. Race are all-time classics. This was a hugely innovative event with some great action. A lot of it hasn't aged that well but this was wrestling in the 1980s.

Yeah man I know what you're talking about. I know it was innovative and all, but you said it yourself it hasn't aged well. And I've seen some of the best matches of all time that are from the 80's such as Flair Vs. Steamboat & Steamboat Savage. I'm doing this review not considering what time its from or anything just a raw review of what I'm seeing. I'm also trying to not to make nostalgia or anything else play in in these reviews.
