TBH, it was pretty obvious Hazuki was not winning as soon as they came out for that match 4th from the top (such disrespect) but goddamn what a match. Probably it was the perfect time and perfect opponent for a title change, but Saya is on such a run, I mean she's up there as good as anyone going right now, and as a diehard Mina fan... I mean, fingers crossed

AZM and The Kid were also great, but nothing could follow that previous match.

And I know Giulia loves her table spots, but I don't think I have ever in my life anywhere seen a piledriver through a table (the greatest spot in all of wrestling) as sick as the one in her match here. Holy shit.

I think it's counterproductive because everyone has been looking forward to the singles match between AZM and Mercedes Moné. I don't want it to feel like HAZUKI is getting in the way and kill her momentum even further than Rossy did by beating her flat after the MOTY.

I like it because I can picture Zoomy vs Mercedes in my head and it would probably go like 90% how I envision it. I'm not saying it would be bad or anything but I'm a lot more interested in the match with Hazuki in it.

The solution for them is inserting her into the match to try and get more heat for the match when it happens, probably also to test if the Hazuki-Saya thing is an isolated incident or a trend.

Besides, it's not as if the AZM match would be for an A show. she is just someone tha tthey are high on that they are feeding Mercedes for a B show, so they aren't risking anything here, and if fans love Hazuki, they are gonig to be more interested in her than in AZM

The big profile opponent for Mercedes is going to be Mayu Iwatani, which they will want to make it be near the date of release of her biographical movie.

The international response to this match is going to be much louder than the Japanese response. HAZUKI was the hero in the Saya match because we fans in general are sick of her having a tag team ceiling. She looks like an intruder to the AZM vs Mercedes Moné match, which will take away some of her support.

I don't think people fully grasp the magnitude of the Ace of TJPW competing under the New Japan umbrella. Mercedes Moné vs Miyu Yamashita could sell out a large arena just by being the first match to break the TJPW vs STARDOM wall down.

Yeah, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and Stardom doing an interpromotional show would be a good way to boost the tickets past the ceili.g that they each have, and Miyu Yamashita versus Mercedes Mone would be nice, even if Bushiroad aren't going to want anybody Who isn't from their company to get a IWGP championship match with Mercedes for territorial reasons.

They are investing a lot training her so that they can debut and push her and she is a celebrity in Japan. Her debut match was aired on television and got two and half million viewers, which is a very high rating for wrestling nowadays

I'm aware of Fuwa and her 1.1 million followers, but Mercedes doesn't need that kind of novelty match to draw. Fuwa will draw with Lady C on her own. She's good for a rookie, but not Logan Paul mind blowing.
