I used to be a huge card collector. I used to collect football/baseball/basketball/hockey. I just started getting back into it. First, I can't believe how expensive some stuff is. Second, I can't believe how cool some of the cards are. Does anyone else collect here? What kind of cards? Any big hits or anything? Here are some notable cards I have?

I was huge into it as a kid. My best card was the Nolan Ryan/Jerry Koosman rookie. I picked it up a few month before Nolan got his 5000th strikeout and it skyrocketed in value. It was a lot of fun when there were only 3 major makers in Topps, Fleer, and Donruss. I was even cool when Upper Deck came in, but after that it just got too big and too much to keep up with

My best cards were, other than the Nolan
56 Mickey Mantle
86-87 Fleer Michael Jordan
85 Olympic Mark McGwire
All Cal Ripken Rookies
80-81 Magic/Larry Rookie
81 Topps Joe Montana Rookie

I was only 12 when I stopped collecting so I felt rich having these cards
