Shame, him v Cesaro would of been perfect for Night of Champions.

- There is speculation about Christian's WWE status after he hasn't appeared on RAW and SmackDown in a few weeks. Christian was scheduled to feud with United States Champion Antonio Cesaro but word is that WWE officials want to keep Christian off TV until after TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October.
Christian is scheduled to appear during Bound For Glory weekend and induct Sting into TNA's Hall of Fame. This is part of the deal between WWE and TNA that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.
While there is no heat on Christian because he didn't choose to appear for TNA, WWE officials don't want him appearing for them while he's in the middle of a title feud on their programming. Expect him to feud with Cesaro later this year unless things change.
Wasnt he IC Champion when he was a Slamiversary?
This and this. They made the guy IC Champ a few weeks before he appeared at Slammiversary. Now they don't want him on TV for two months so people don't buy BFG? No fucking way - TNA aren't even advertising Christian will be there for a start. He was IC champ when he made his TNA appearance earlier this year. I smell bullshit.
How the hell would it give TNA any hype? The majority of the WWE audience dont have a clue he is appearing at BFG or that he wrestled for TNA once.Give TNA as little hype as possible, makes sense to me.
Why is Christian inducting Sting, anyway? It'd make more sense to be Jarrett or Hogan, who Sting has more history with.
