Backstage News on Why Christian Has Been Removed from WWE TV, New Feud Planned

- There is speculation about Christian's WWE status after he hasn't appeared on RAW and SmackDown in a few weeks. Christian was scheduled to feud with United States Champion Antonio Cesaro but word is that WWE officials want to keep Christian off TV until after TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October.

Christian is scheduled to appear during Bound For Glory weekend and induct Sting into TNA's Hall of Fame. This is part of the deal between WWE and TNA that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

While there is no heat on Christian because he didn't choose to appear for TNA, WWE officials don't want him appearing for them while he's in the middle of a title feud on their programming. Expect him to feud with Cesaro later this year unless things change.

Shame, him v Cesaro would of been perfect for Night of Champions.
Again, that's just speculations. Nobody knows for sure.
Hope he beats Cesaro for the title (he's already beaten him before). The US Title is one of the only titles Christian hasn't won in his career yet, and it would great he if won it. He's not going to be pushed any higher than the midcard now, so I'm not hoping for anything else.
That makes sense. I can't wait to have Christian back and a fued with Cesaro would be nice.
Seems very strange, I cant see who is going to see Christian on WWE TV and then go 'oh I must buy BFG'.
Well that means he will job again when he's back.
This actually makes a lot of sense. Christian is scheduled for a title feud and it would be odd to see a WWE titleholder at the TNA Hall of Fame ceremony. Christian/Cesaro will probably get started for Hell In A Cell and it's a feud that I wanted to see.
Never really understood the level of popularity for Christian. Could really care less where he is because he really isn't entertaining. He is too small to consider a legitimate threat. A feud with Heath Slater would be something nice to see considering there is history between the two going back to when Christian was Slater's "Pro". I will say this though. He deserves a WWE title reign, and US title reign just because that would make him champion of every title ever created in the WWE since he first debuted, and that does not include the NXT title.
Makes sense but with this report I bet that Cesaro loses the US title within the next month :p thereby proving this report to be false but then the dirtsheets will come up with another report after the fact and claim that with the previous report being leaked WWE changed their plans.
Wasnt he IC Champion when he was a Slamiversary?
isnt Christan supposed to be on TNA soon, as part of a deal to let Ric Flair be inducted into the HoF(This may have happened already, i'm not much of a TNA regular), if so, Vince probably doesn't want one of his 'mainstream' guys suddenly appearing on the 'rival' show...
Old news but I feel like saying Cesaro vs. Christian had been (perhaps unintentionally) well set up and would have been a great match.
He was IC champ when he made his TNA appearance earlier this year. I smell bullshit.

This and this. They made the guy IC Champ a few weeks before he appeared at Slammiversary. Now they don't want him on TV for two months so people don't buy BFG? No fucking way - TNA aren't even advertising Christian will be there for a start.
Give TNA as little hype as possible, makes sense to me.

Why is Christian inducting Sting, anyway? It'd make more sense to be Jarrett or Hogan, who Sting has more history with.

How the hell would it give TNA any hype? The majority of the WWE audience dont have a clue he is appearing at BFG or that he wrestled for TNA once.

This is complete BS. Dont believe it because it makes no sense.

keeping Christian off screen cause he appears in TNA is stupid.
I wouldn't have even known that Christian would've showed up again if these reports kept popping up.
Maybe he is behind the Aces & Eights, lol.
