She joins Cedric Alexander, Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering on the chopping block today.

Apparently Sonyas contract is simply not going to be extended. She wasn't released. They just simply told her that they are going to let her contract expire. I wonder when it does expire. Regardless, I can't imagine them still using her if this is true.

The fact that Charlotte fucking Flair instead of her had millions of pushes and TV time that NO ONE ASK FOR, not one fucking person, has me tilted no lie.

Sonya, a great promo and a IRL ass kicker, never really had a chance is such bullshit. Yes, keep on the shoving the inferior one at nauseam until one day fans might throw shit from Go Away Heat.

Make it make sense, Triple H. You smart mark.

Damn I liked Sonya, maybe she ends up on TK’s roster. Most of these other released talents should be trying to get into TNA.

So, let’s see if Tony can exercise some restraint here and not sign every fucking person sacked today.

Cedric does not need to join the Hurt Syndicate. Sonya doesn’t need to feud with Athena. AOP
don’t need to challenge FTR.
I agree with the rest, but Sonya vs Athena is perfect for ROH.

I am always of the opinion they have so many names the cuts make sense as it allows those not being used to their best to be able to head off elsewhere, and they’ll be back if all goes well with no closed doors.

But I have to be honest, I am a little hurt by this one as I see so much in Sonya that they’ve never really tapped into. I guess unfortunate that when it looked like she was going to hit it off she had that unfortunate incident with the nutcase, but still. And they have so many women signed, something always has to give.

I haven’t read the rest of the thread so sorry if I repeat anything others have said better than me, but my first thought seeing this was Sonya and Mandy reforming in the Indies.

I guess Pure Fusion Collective becomes a tag team now or do they disband?
