Shayna isn't all that good either. She needs very specific booking and she hasn't really gotten it since NXT. Zoey is the only one in the group with untapped potential.

 

Shayna can at least do a job decently. Sonya has been pretty bad in the ring this run. And all sides tried to showcase her mic work but the audience just isn't buying what she is selling.

ALL Sonya can do is talk. At the very least Zoey can be used as a mechanic in the midcard.

 

She was the best one from whatever group she was in. Infact she was the only good one.

That said they are creating quite a logjam of talented women in NXT. There's talent that can slide right into the spot that Sonya had and do it better

Among the trio, Zoey Stark probably has the best value as she is good in-ring and doesn't require a push. She's pretty much a less goofy version of Mia Yim

 

Feels like yesterday when they started that lesbian faction but it's hard to get people interested in those three girls.

 

Her career tanked the moment Naomi left and went to TNA. So much of her GM character for a year was fucking with Naomi that she floundered without her and then the injury added to it

 

Yeah, they are making room for the eventual callups. A large chunk of the roster is viewed as replaceable and possibly cheaper. Like, they let Sonya go but in NXT there is Lola Vice. They are simply trying to keep the roster fresh.

In a way I don't think that Sonya got a decent chance when she returned. They stuck her in a group immediately, never explained what the name of the group meant, and the trio basically lost matches the majority of time. I liked Sonyas old music and look. Felt very Cruella-ish.

Zoey is probably safe.

Who I worry about is Isla Dawn.

 

Lola Vice’s act could play on the main roster. They don’t have any salsa dancing Latinas. And she has a fresh colorful entrance, and some credibility in MMA. She’s unique enough to stand out in a spot. One of the few women have a gimmick in NXT that makes them memorable

 

But she's a proud empowered lesbian!!! How dare they???
