This argument on RAW is fucking stupid. Cena claims that Punk copies Bret Hart, Randy Savage and The Rock.

Sure he put his promo across well when he was saying it...... but this whole concept of "Stealing moves" is bullshit. I'm pretty sure Cena didnt invent shoulder block takedowns, or the swinging back suplex (or whatever it's called) or the bloody firemans carry.

WWE promos need to make sense if they're gonna be put across as serious arguments :/.

Cena was doing the same for the Rock - "I'm here every night doing what i do best while you're off making movies". yeah, and where was Cena during The Rock's career? too busy bodybuilding?

Its about stealing Signature moves to get over which is what Punk did. Cena was 100% right on that, punk also wore Bret hart colors to get sympathy from the crowd but Montreal shat on him completely. You could see earlier in the show, Punk got rattled by the extremely loud SHUT THE FUCK UP chants. He got exposed for a talentless overrated fraud. Simple. No need to blame Cena for that.

Do all Rock fans on this site hate Punk?

Anyway he's got a point though,Its all about stealing signature moves and I'm a huge Punk mark.I don't see why there's a problem though,Punk executes those moves excellently.

lol, talk about seeing things from a punk hater's perspective. give me a break. hbk made that flying elbow his signature move as well and he did it better than the macho man ever did. this year's pwi 500 has c.m. punk #1 and daniel bryan #4. eat that fool!

Obvious that you hate Punk. I think it´s great that Punk uses the elbow in tribute to Machoman. Moves get recycled all the time stop bitching. The Rock bottom was purely to mock Dwayne.

Cena isn´t even original himself. The moves are different but it´s the same routine as Hogan, Warrior when he wrestles.

I dont really care either way.

nomral moves are not "copyable" just like with anything the "basics" anyone can use, I.E the basic moves, but taking the special move\thing they do is very often "bad" and frowned apon

And the funny thing is that all people were talking about how epic was Cena's promo and how he owned Punk while the only thing I saw in that night was Cena speaking a load of bullshit that only a stupid person would say its legitimate in front of a crowed that didn't have a choice but to cheer everything he said ,right or wrong because he kissed their legend's ass.

"For 300 days you held that championship , for 300 days that championship has been irrelevant"

I won't even reply on what he said there because it just reply to itself by showing how stupid and what limited mind Cena has.

and yet they say it was a great promo and he owned Punk. LOL

And should I remind Cena how he lost the greatest match of his career?
Should I remind him what move was he doing when the Rock Rock bottomed him for the win?

You cant be foreal? He DESTROYED Macho mans elbow drop.. absolutely makes it look terrible EVERY time. He disgraces the move.

Stealing moves he says....didn't he try to "steal" the people's elbow at WrestleMania until Rocky nipped it in the bud and hit him with a rock-bottom. Wasn't the FU/AA/Standing fireman's carry slam a rip off of the F-5 as an insult to Lesnar?

As for being away doing movies and being there every night. Wasn't Cena away for a few months to do marine?....oh wait he was stabbed outside of a nightclub by a fella called Jesus. Nevermind.

What annoys me most about this whole thing is how wwe goes about....if a face does somebody else's signature move he is paying respects to the guy but when a heel does it he is showing disrespect...

Good example was when eddie died, if chavo did the three amigos he was disrespecting his late uncle...but when rey did it then the commentators would say he is showing respect to his late friend...

So when Punk was first doing the elbow he was showing respect to savage because he was a face....but now since he is a heel they have to say that he is stealing savages move....its all so pointless

This, by looking at some of these post in this thread I'm starting to think some of these guys aren't aware that wrestling is a work.
