He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. These "fans" don't know what they want and they made themselves be miserable because they were all hoping for a Rock return instead of enjoying Wrestlemania for what it was (although it wasn't that good).

I think HHH and Rock have some heat going on. He didn't mention Rock at all in his HOF speech.

Weather you wanted him there or not, he was directly involved in the Cena turn, so he should have been there.

The Rock is not the reason why Mania was so shitty. The Rock not being there is certainly a big ass cherry on top though.

I don't think anyone will turn on him, next time he shows up he will get another huge pop and people will be once again led on to fantasy book his next appearance based on whatever he does.

Its almost like he does this on purpose, he wants us to talk about him all year speculating on what he does next, only to run around with no intention of following up.

I don't think the fans are going to be with him the next time he shows up. Why should anyone take anything he does seriously? His schizo act I think turned a lot of people off.

He could come out as the heel Final Boss, then the next time he shows up, he decides he wants adoration and cheers and drinks tequila with a face. As he said in that scrum "I'm not a heel and I'm not a babyface". Dude, you can't just flip the heel/face switch every time you show up based on how your ego is doing that day

You can mock him, criticize him, and pretend he’s irrelevant all you want—but the very fact that his absence left you disappointed speaks volumes. It means, whether you admit it or not, he’s still the benchmark. Still the presence everyone feels, even when he’s not in the room. That kind of dominance doesn’t fade—it defines who’s ahead, and he’s still light years beyond the rest.

If you listen to anything Dwyane said (why would you he lies more then Hogan) this storyline was his idea so for him to not show up is funny as fuck.

Another story derailed for him,

Should have done the heel turn at wrestlemaina would have been an all time moment but Dwyanez ego had to fuck it up.

Only good thing is seeing his fans try to justify it like the creepy weirdo's they are

There was just 0 reason for The Rock to get involved in Cena’s heel turn if he wasn’t going to be there at WM to help him win the title. He inserted himself into the storyline of the WM Main Event and then disappeared. It was a bad match, but with a good ending, it could have been salvaged. But it was a bad match, with a historically awful and laughably bad finish.

Should have just gone into the match with a face Cena vs. face Cody. Cena acts more heelish during the build, but nothing full on. Kind of more along the lines of what he did vs. Roman. Then after several failed attempts to beat Cody throughout the match, he resorts to cheating to finally beat him. He could do the full beat down on Raw the next night to fully cement the heel turn. That was the move. Not the shit we got last night.

I can tell you this. I’m no longer hyped about a possible Roman vs Rock match. The Rock killed that story. Instead of taking over the bloodline after WM 40 and attacking Roman on raw Netflix debut the rock did nothing and killed any hype for both a match with Cody and Roman. The bloodline is over now and whatever aura the tribal chief had after WM 40has been killed. Theres no reason for them to fight anymore. Roman is no longer champion, doesn’t have Heyman, and bloodline is no more so seriously what would they be fighting over who’s the better actor/wrestler?

This partly why I said what I said night after Netflix Day 1 and will be apart of my post I have planned that WWE has peaked. HHH also lacks talent in knowing how to run plays in the short run for long run gain and vice versa. I was giving HHH benefit of doubt waiting to see how Mania plays out and the thing went down 90 percent the way I figured it would, but in a lazy way. People critiqued Austin's heel turn, but even that is better than what Cena's turn is going.

It is what it is, and honestly the Rock is my GOAT because of his impact. His presence and ability to elevate a storyline is unmatched, and this is why a lot of people are disappointed, myself included.

He included himself in the Cena heel turn and we got NO explanation as to why Cena joined with the Rock, no Rock and Cena power trip or any interaction for that matter. Not a single appearance. It really screwed everything up because if Rock is gonna involve himself, he needs to actually...be involved.

Last year was great because the Rock stuck it out, was featured heavily on the RTWM, and was available for 2 nights of WM.

This year is showing us that if Rock is not gonna commit to that, then he needs to step aside and let the bookers do their own thing.

One of the biggest Rock marks out there but seriously, if this guy can’t commit to a storyline and WWE has to continually change plans around him, fuck him. WM 40 was going down the pan because of him until they managed to course correct at the WrestleMania press conference, they never had that turning point this year.

For Travis fucking Scott to be the only person to show up last night is a disgrace. At the very least, Rock should have come out after the match to celebrate with Cena. That main event was never going to match up to last year’s, don’t think anyone ever expected it to, but it certainly shouldn’t have been in the argument for the worst WM main event in living memory…

We literally have people in this thread defending a guy inserting himself into a storyline as the single biggest part of it, not appearing a single time during the build, not appearing during the payoff to the angle, and altering the entire reason for the storylines existence.....because it's "great heat".

I hope Trump tariffs all your countries until it's 40 dollars for a bottle of water.

I honestly couldn't care less now if he shows up and this is coming from a big Rock fan. I'm not a mark and I'm not going to excuse what he is doing. He was the one who started this whole storyline with Cena turning, he's on record saying it was his idea. If he can't even be bothered to follow up on his role in the biggest heel turn and story in forever which practically derails the whole thing because it no longer makes any fucking sense then fuck him.

I swear some of you Rock marks will excuse anything he does.
