Every passing month he seems to get worse. I kinda blame his crap gimmick to be honest.His whole sadistic , keeps to himself kinda deal psycho of a gimmick doesn't work for his promos.He sounds the exact same, he never sounds really angry ro anything. Its annoying and hard to listen to him. Back a couple years ago, his promos were miles ahead of what he does now.

I feel like he's not a bad character now. He's booked quite well now as opposed to shortly after he punted Vince. When he punted Vince, he had such a strength to him. Then Triple H returned and Orton became a chickenshit heel. Now he's a tweener who kicks some major ass, but they don't let him bring the more outwardly psychotic character that we saw when he was attacking the Mcmahons.

I think the real issue is that the Badass Face isn't allowed to be sadistic, and the Psycho Heel isn't allowed to be strong. If the WWE could toss out their Face/Heel boxes and forget what characters are "supposed" to be, we could have amazing personalities like the Sadistic Orton and Mid-2008 Jericho.

By the way, either it's me, or Randy looked juiced in that video. I could have sworn Randy dropped the roids after he got his tattoo, but when you compare Randy's physique then (that video has him absolutely chiseled) to now (skinny), it's pretty obvious lol

Many of the basement wrestling geniuses like to claim that Orton has no charisma, mostly because they think its the cool IWC thing to say. But it's definitely not based in reality. Orton is able to adjust his promo skills based on his gimmick and character. Some of these vids that have been posted are very good examples of Orton's ability to cut good promos.
