This can't be life.
I haven't seen the promo but I'm surprised Triple H was instrumental in getting you to quit your job. I'd never let a wrestling promo impact my real life like that. I can understand not being happy with a job but you always wanna line something else up so you can keep that roof over your head before saying sayonara to your current boss. Please don't let what you see on TV influence your real life like that, you could become dangerous if you're that impressionable. So yeah,
Did anyone else feel like the speech HHH made on RAW about "Hope" and how people hope for things that never actually happen and live their life, day by day, year by year with only hope. Hope of getting a raise, hope of thing getting better, hope of a promotion..... yadda yadda......
well today, I went into work told my boss in a nutshell I have been unhappy with my pay for the work I put in, and was disappointed I never got a raise in the 2 years. He made some excuses the same ones he always does when he brushes off my questions as to why I haven't gotten a raise....
and then I put in my 2 weeks notice.
Mid 30's now and have been with the place for 6 years and just a combination of not being happy, feeling abused and quite frankly listening to HHH decided I had enough..... :serious:
Welp, I guess I can look forward to WM 32 a little bit more now since that will be final days before I leave that week.
