This weeks show got 2.83M viewers which is down from 2.964M viewers last week.

I'm actually surprised it barely dropped. I would have thought it'd drop alot more considering that around 45M people in USA were tuning into the Olympics at the exact same time as Smackdown.

Good rating for going against the Olympics. Even though the Olympics are getting good ratings, the opening ceremony-- as boring as it was-- was the main draw. So this weeks Smackdown rating should rise

- Friday’s episode of Smackdown scored a 1.92 rating. The show did 2.834 million viewers, according to TV By The Numbers. The show was down from the previous Friday’s episode, which garnered a 2.04 rating with 2.964 million viewers.

When a rating goes down on here the champ gets all the blame, therefore deserves at least a little credit when it goes up/stays steady.
