Smackdown needs 'JBL'

Honestly Smackdown needs a man like JBL and hopefully JBL may miss the squared-ring and itch a return. If I was WWE, I would immediatly contact JBL and offer him a main-event push on Smackdown and even a possible world title reign because Smackdown needs a top Heel. Alberto Del Rio just isnt cutting it for me, so he can take a back-seat. This man has the cunning, charisima, and in-ring skills to put on a good match. I dont know if hes still in physical shape, but Sheamus needs a good opponent and with Orton filming 12 rounds I have no idea who can go next.

7 years ago he made Smackdown heavily interesting as a great World Champion. 7 years later, he may be older and the roster may be completely different but I know that JBL has the talent to be able to make Smackdown watchable.

Would you like to see JBL returning to Smackdown?

I would only like him back as a commentator, i don't ever wanna see JBL wrestle again, the guy was already way past his prime when he retired.
Smackdown needs a good colour commentator and JBL is the right man for the job.

JBL would be phenomenal as a commentator.

But, also I'd like to see him in a managers role, WWE uis sorely lacking decent managerial talent. JBL would be the perfect manager/mouthpiece to some up and coming talent.
If JBL returned, he is A-show material and should commentate on Raw. Smackdown isn't important enough to use him properly and it would just be a waste. However, I don't want to see him wrestle in the ring again. There wouldn't be a point and he doesn't need to come back for one more retirement match.
why the hell would they bring him back whn they have given his gimmick to someone else? also, smackdown would be shit ragardless of who is on it.
He is doing some mountain climbing thing for charity where he is climbing a whole bunch of the worlds highest mountains and the WWE are partnering with him for it. He will likely come back after that (it is going to take a few years) and give a bit back to the WWE in return for their support and donations.

Any time he is on my screen I'm stoked. I don't care what capacity it's in, he is just so awesome. :mark:
As much as I enjoy JBL's commentary, I would have one wonder, and that's if he would be able to speak freely in today's watered-down PG era. Not that he was swearing up a storm on commentary back in the day, but I think there used to be more free reign to express actual personality then.
JBL in the ring? No

In any other capacity? Absolutely yes.

I like Booker as the GM, but it would be great if JBL was the GM and Booker went back to commentary
JBL should return as a commentator, not wrestler.
LOL you know what would happen to poor JBL if he feud Sheamus? he would be destroyed even worse than ADR by him...problem is that Sheamus is booked extremely strong.

I'm a fan of JBL and the last thing I would want is him feuding that boring unstoppable force.
All I can say on this is that JBL is awesome on the mic, because he is great in his character and he can sell the matches very well. He was awesome as a colour commentator on SD, and hopefully he returns to that position.
As GM? Without a doubt. The dude as a heel GM would shut shit down with ease. When he came back for that brief moment in the Austin/Cole seg, he was GOLD.
I would like to see him come back as well. But only as a commentator. He did a great job at that and I was always impressed on how he was able to capture the wrestling matches. He would be a good replacement for Micheal Cole! I would like to see Cole stay as a commentator, but I don't like him on both shows. I think Cole and Lawler would be good for Raw and JBL and Josh Mathews would be a good team for Smackdown!
Commentary and feuding with Booker over the GM spot, YES!

Agreed. The guy is one of the few who truly understands being a heel and doesnt worry about fan reactions or cheers.
