Smackdown July 13th

Smackdown is now Zackdown. Zack Rider kicks off the show. His first thing to do as acting GM is to do the biggest fist pump. The whole crowd does it. Out comes Alberto Del Rio. Ryder announces that Del Rio will face Sin Cara tonight.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara via submission.

The Big show tells Ryder that he's doing a sucky job as GM. Ryder makes a match between Big Show and The Great Khali for tonight. Khali does the fist pump.

Primo (w/ Epico and Rosa Mendes) defeated Darren Young (with Titus O'Neil).

Sheamus and Ryder are backstage talking and are interrupted by Chris Jericho. Sheamus calls Jericho out, but Jericho says he's not there to fight. Ryder makes Jericho vs. Sheamus for tonight.

Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes defeated Christian and Santino Marella after Ziggler pinned Marella.

The Big Show defeated The Great Khali. They slapped each other, and then Show knocked out Khali with the WMD to win the match.

Ryback defeated Tyler Reks.

Damien Sandow defeated Justin Gabriel.

World heavyweight champion Sheamus defeated Chris Jericho. Del rio come out as Sheamus is celebrating and attacks him. Del Rio then locks the arm bar on Sheamus.

I'm going to assume ADR wins that match. So far so meh. But after some of RAW being really crap (not all of it tbf. The MITB build was decent for both titles as was the WHC build despite the lack of time given), I'm hoping Smackdown, sorry, Zackdown offers something different.

More spoilers:

To be honest that'll make their PPV chances increase judging by WWE booking :p I won't rule it out though haha. Judging by Vickie's teasing an alliance with Tensai, if she does the same with Rhodes something tells me Ziggler may win. Either that or Vickie screws him out of an opportunity.

As long as Rhodes or Ziggler win the WHC MITB match...please?

EDIT: Ziggler pinned Santino so we're spared haha. Wonder how this will translate to TV because Dolph is going in strong, which may affect his PPV chances.

Ziggler's won 3 matches in a row, which probably means he isn't winning, unless WWE actually do the unthinkable and give the case to the strongest booked and most ready superstar :eek::eek::eek:

I think Rhodes will win it.

Rhodes and Ziggler both going in strong. When was the last time Ziggler won 3 matches, and Rhodes won last 2 with big win over Christian in that as well. Still expecting a huge swerve in this match with these 2 men being far too obvious winners

Here's hoping :D

But of course I would say that. I would be fine with Dolph winning too. Nightmare scenario would have Tensai, Sandow, Kidd or Marella win.

Reasons:

Tensai: Face it. He isn't over.

Sandow: Talented as the guy is it's much too soon. Even in a year he won't be quite there yet.

Kidd: Had he been used more for a few months leading into this match I would be OK with the choice. But it's too out of nowhere.

Santino: Do I really need to explain? Perhaps the sock that looks like a cobra on my right hand could do so for me..

The heels are the ones going in strong with the faces on the back foot. Christian and Santino have both suffered losses. Reason Rhodes and Ziggler are the obvious winners is because they're the only ones really legitimately ready to win. Christian I suppose is ready too but he really doesn't need it.
