Whats your opinion on shy people, especially shy men(grown up men in their 20's or above)? How do you perceive them?

To be honest, most shy men are viewed as being creepy by society unless they're really attractive in which case they're "cute" for being shy.

Me personally? No issue with shy people. Shy girls are cute and shy dudes are cool as long as they aren't socially awkward and eventually open up.

I used to be hella shy, but once I was comfortable I was something else. I think I've outgrown my shyness for the most part, now you'd probably never guess I was a shy person. Also my shyness lead people to believe I was quite stuck up. I got called conceited a lot. I can see someone masking their shyness by being a stuck up prick, probably one of the best covers.

So no, I don't have any issues with shy people. It's the people who are too quiet and nice all the time that you have to watch out for.

Like CHAMP said, some people can confuse shyness with being stuck up or rude.

Well, i prefer people who can't stop talking. That way i don't have to do much effort myself, since i'm lazy and hate having to drag conversations along just because the other one can't seem to speak his mind.

But all in all i try to be polite and make the shy people more comfortable.
