Should Vince McMahon showed up at the final Wcw? I think yes.

I mean just think how big it would had been to see Vince in a Wcw arena on a Wcw show. I mean that's one of those moments you thought you would never see.

I think Vince on Nitro would had been far bigger then Shane on Wcw.

Re: Should had Vince been showed up at the final Wcw Nitro?

no. Shane works because it set up the Invasion angle, which at the time had the potential to be the greatest angle in history. Adding Vince would have made it more surreal, and perhaps poetic, but Shane delivers the shock factor and sets up a money angle in a way that had it been simply Vince, it wouldn't have worked.

I think that they would have been better off NOT announcing that WWF had taken over WCW until after they had properly prepared a decent Invasion angle. They should've kept running WCW independently from WWF, with occasional cross-over storylines building up to a huge showdown at the end of 2001, I think. It would have been more exciting in the long run for them to pretend that WCW was genuinely attacking and invading their show, with a massive angle built on a battle of dominance between WCW and WWF. If they'd managed to keep it from the fans that they owned WCW (which, in the internet age, I doubt) I think that they could've produced a much more memorable angle for WCW battling WWF.

I think that would have been perfect yes. That would have made it so much better one problem so many big stars that are Wcw were not going to be under contract with WWE

Would been like a mid card Wcw

That actually would have been cool, Vince comes out on Nitro to announce it's demise, Shane shows up on Raw to tell Vince he bought WCW, while Vince is standing in a WCW ring as the WCW fans go crazy around him, maybe even have a few WCW wrestlers surround the ring, like Sting, Booker, Flair, Stiener, and escort Vince out of the building.

But then again Vince wouldn't want to look weak.

This would have been awesome.

Not entirely sure about the weak part, though. Vince has made himself look weak before.

No way Vince is going to hostile territory like that. Half that locker room was guys he pushed out of his company. Im not saying it would have got phyiscal but it couldve been really awkward.
I disagree I mean he owned Wcw at that time no one was going to say a thing because the war was over and most of them worked for him since

I think it would have been tremendous if Vince had showed up in Panama City. Even though it was already so surreal, it would have been even more so to have Vince actually live on Nitro. Shane being there was good for the WWE storylines, but, it didn't really have the same impact, all those years, when you look at the potential of Vince being there.

Vince on Nitro the moment that fans never thought they would see. Would had been big as Bishoff on WWE tv
