I think he should most definitely. Sure, his very short stint in the WWE was horrible but not only looking at his WCW accolades but what he's done for guys like Jake the Snake and Scott Hall should earn him a spot.

Accolades:
- 2x WCW United States Heavyweight Champ
- 3x WCW World Heavyweight Champ
- 4x WCW World Tag Champ
- 1x WCW World Television Champ
- BattleBowl 1996 winner
- 4th ever WCW Triple Crown

What do you think? Should the fact that he was essentially a failure in WWE hamper his chances?

If Coco B Ware can be in the hall of fame then DDP can.

Couldn't agree more.

Definitely think he should be in there, although it may take some time, I'm figuring by the way he was buried, some of the guys in the WWE probably aren't very big on him. But I personally would love to see him in there.

Without a doubt, he would never be a headliner. But he deserves to be in there.
Completely agree, I think he should go in next year as Rock and Diesel will probably be the 2 big names (unless they somehow get Savage and Owen)

He was one of the very few people that was able to break through and become a top guy in WCW.

Also he has a cool story where he started in his mid to late 30s I think and still had all this success.

Wrestling wise he's in and when you consider the fact that Scott Hall and Jake Roberts are still alive and probably will be for a while he deserves it even more.

I'm pretty sure he's very well respected in WWE. He's just an all round great guy, and has some impressive accomplishments both in and out of the ring. What he's done for Scott Hall and Jake Roberts is just amazing, he deserves this.

yep he should, but does the WWE (Vince) value the WCW accolades?
Well they do consider Flair a 16x time World Champ (7 time WCW World Champ)

Nope. They recognize stats(although nobody recognizes 'triple crown' Marky Mark stats.. but its very hard for a WCW-only star to get HoF.

WWE is biased towards people they have made money off of and/or were company men and loyal. Hence why Koko B Ware is in, and DDP is not.
