One thing that was brought up that I never thought about with the whole WM/Saudi stuff is the amount of conventions and indies that feed and piggy back off of WM Weekend, Do you think it would be wise for TK to try and get NJPW/MLP/MLW/CMLL/Stardom/GCW/DFW etc together and do a Stadium US Show (Probably a Baseball/Tennis 40K capacity stadium) to counter WM ? Obviously it would be a predominantly AEW show with certain partners showcased but have Indy shows revolve around that weekend similar to WM ?

I’m on the fence as there is an opportunity to do it I just don’t know if it would be wise to counter program WM, interested to hear your opinions.

AEW should definitely do something big but on the weekend before or after.

Tony needs to use every trick in his booking bag to make this epic enough to pull it off:

A tournament.

Kenny Omega in some fashion interacting with the Bucks AND the Don Callis Family.

Some Japanese guys nobody but the sickos have ever heard of.

Chris Jericho in an endless feud that’s 6 months past its sell-by date before it reaches its midpoint at this anti-WM event.

Women‘s match with no promos and no build.

A few 15-minute heatless bangers between uppercard guys and lower-card guys we know have no chance.

Multi-person tag match with fake money on the line.

And … well, I think that pretty much exhausts his ideas.

First things first AEW could trademark 'WrestleRabia'

Second AEW could sell the idea to the powers that be in the Kingdom of Arabia that a PLE of WWE vs AEW in Arabia is where its at.

Third AEW could just do better at appealing to the masses, the WWE appears to have given up on them completely.

Fourth AEW could do a free event as a reward, loyalty ticket buyers get free tickets for a televised special event, for a non-controversial charity with the owner putting 1,000,000 dollars of his own money in the pot.

Fifth Tony could put a face on AEW. Not his..but like WWF in the 80s was Hulk, millennium was Austin/Rock, then John Cena. Find the most charismatic AEW face they have and put it out there, swamp the media.

1. Lmao, clever idea

2. Would never happen but I wish we had a Forbidden Door between WWE & AEW and like a trade system between the two, like a trade between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho could benefit both parties, a MJF for Cody etc. would be hella cool be required both parties to kill their egos.

3. Marketing is AEW’s worst area by far, need to rub more shoulders with mainstream entities to get better exposure.

4. Would be cool, think they tried something along those lines with Fight for the Fallen

5. Hangman and MJF for sure. Hangman’s look in remarkable and comes off as a babyface. MJF is one of the few heels that’s always in kayfabe, have him come to a talk show and absolutely roast/bury the host shit would be viral.
