Undoubtedly. I'm not even a fan but you can tell he has skills. He just needs to know what to do with them. He hasn't had a defined character since he was a brash, cheeky young dude who took selfies with his fallen opponents. And even if that character worked, its shelf life wasn't going to be that long.

He needs to find the gimmick that truly suits him because the potential is there.

About the topic, I don't know if he's leaving or if the post is more about his current standing, lost in the shuffle and all.

And Shotzi, I'm not sure she's not in character there.

When Isla Dawn, Sonya, Cedric Alexander and whoever else were released or contract not renewed I said that surely they had this possibility in mind of happening and it's not catching them off guard. Probably applies to Shotzi also. I wouldn't be surprised if she was let go considering how much shes been absent. Alba Fyre has since been paired with Chelsea and so she may be around longer for now but Dakota isn't doing anything, Kayden and Katana aren't doing much of anything, etc. As WWE keeps bringing in guys like Penta, Fenix, Rusev and Aleister Black, along with moving up talent from NXT, the reality is that someone else will eventually lose their job.

Austin Theory I do think could benefit from going elsewhere. Maybe it will help him find "something" more that I feel like he still lacks. Assuming he has indeed been released because he was at RAW on Monday and I am not sure how true this speculation is.

I'm hopeful that eventually WWE will use Grayson Waller more than they have recently.

I'm not certain on this: Shotzi's message sounds more like a goodbye, whereas Theory's just sounds like a generic motivational post. So let's see if there's confirmation from any official sources.

I'd be very surprised if they released Theory. Despite his on-screen association with Vince McMahon, he's not someone I'd have thought they want to actively release. Unless he has asked to be released and it was granted?

Shotzi is a maybe, though surprising that they used her for Stand and Deliver. And a pity. I'm not a huge fan of her in-ring work, but she was a good manager for Tatum and Gigi, and I liked the three person Chemical X idea, although it never seemed to take off on the show itself.

I'll be surprised if Theory is done. HHH took the gas off the pedal with him, which is not a bad thing. We've seen what happens when Vince overpushes someone. So I think he became a long term project. It's possible his contract was up, and he thought he could do more outside of the company, which is a gamble but cool that he's betting on himself.

That said, I think AEW is a bad fit for Austin Theory. I think he'd get stuck in around the Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia level. Go to TNA where I can see him actually being a young main event player.
