WWE’s Elimination Chamber 2020 event is coming up this Sunday, Mar. 8, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two chamber matches have already been booked for the event. One match will determine the top contender for Becky Lynch’s Raw women’s championship at WrestleMania 36, and the other will feature a defense of the SmackDown tag titles. There has never been an event with more than two different chamber matches in one night.

Could that change this year?

Sheamus is not a participant in either of the two announced chamber matches. Yet he had a pre-taped promo on the Feb. 21 episode of SmackDown where he declared for an Elimination Chamber match, which he referred to as a “rat trap.”

Lacey Evans is also not a participant in either of the two announced chamber matches. Yet she had a sit-down interview with Renee Young on that same episode of SmackDown, where she talked about taking out five women at Elimination Chamber in order to earn a championship match at WrestleMania.

Something doesn’t add up here. Is WWE going to announce new Elimination Chamber matches on this week’s (Mar. 6) go-home episode of SmackDown? Or is this a case of Vince McMahon changing plans multiple times during the most important part of the wrestling calendar?

Rather sloppy even by WWE's usual standards.

SD women could have really used the EC instead of RAW, everyone and their mother knows Shayna is winning that match. there is no suspense here.

With SD it's much more unpredictable Lacey Naomi and Sasha or even Alexa (you can't count her out) could realistically win the match.

The reason why the chamber for women shouldn't exclusive to RAW, SDL also need find a contender for their women's title, three from RAW and three from SDL is fit image for the Elimination Chamber match.

Well personally I think it would be a great surprise if they threw a third chamber match on the card. On the Kickoff you could have Bayley bragging she’s not even gonna wrestle at WrestleMania because she has no credible opponent only for someone ( likely a McMahon) to say well that too bad you fell like that, but guess what your opponent well be decided tonight, because theirs a third chamber match now with the winner facing you at WrestleMania, with the wrestlers being Carmella vs Naomi vs Lacey Evans vs Fire and Desire vs Sasha Banks.

Or they could have some wrestler cutting a promo complaining about Roman just getting handed the Universal title match at WrestleMania only for Roman to come out and issue a challenge to face them and he will put his title shot on the line, however before the match starts someone let’s say Triple H. Says this is Elimination Chamber you guys have four more competitors . Maybe something along the lines of Roman vs Sheamus vs King Corbin vs Shorty G. Vs Apollo vs Fiend

This company is booking everything on the fly. They didn't even know which show their top stars would be on a week before the draft. That blue title being made wasn't planned out months prior to the draft.

Yea and last year, Sasha, Bayley and Becky were throwing 4 horsewomen signs while ronda was legit reacting to this and nothing came of that. They book on the fly all the time. Probably worst now that Vince constantly changes his mind

Womens EC should have been: Shayna vs. Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Lacey Evans vs. Naomi/Carmella. That would have had some worth and even if Shayna wins that hands down, it would actually mean something.
