Shawn Michaels was recently interviewed by Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com. When asked if Triple H will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame this year, he said:

"I don't know that we've decided all that. I get the final decision on that and it's hard to narrow it down to one, and that's what I've been telling him. I've got it down to two. And I'm running out of time."

Shawn also revealed that plans were in place if he wanted to keep wrestling after the WrestleMania match against The Undertaker. He said:

"We had a couple, little back-up plans if (I) wanted to come back maybe and do a little retirement tour and do it this way. I can remember after that match, me, Taker, and Michael Hayes were sitting in a room by ourselves taking it all in. Just very quiet. And Michael Hayes spoke up and said, 'Ya know, if that's the last one, I understand.' And I looked over at him and said, 'That's it.' What I'm saying is they left it open and it was one of those things I was allowed to call on the fly. If I wanted to do something - maybe a little retirement tour and at least say good-bye to everybody, we could find a way to get that done, too. But, after that one, I just knew that was it. It really gets real then."

In the interview he also talks about Bret Hart and says that they text each other as well which is nice to see that they have really sorted out all of their problems from years ago and seem to be friends to an extent now. I guess the two people would be either Kevin Nash since he has come back and is definitely in Atlanta that weekend as he is hosting a party with Sean Waltman or Triple H who most probably see as the likely man for the role.

As HUGE of a Shawn Michaels mark as i am i don't think i would have liked to have seen a retirement tour because it would have taken the gloss off of the match at WrestleMania 26 against The Undertaker and effectively meant that the whole Career vs The Streak build and hype would have been for nothing. I don't think a retirement tour with matches against a host of people would have produced a match as great as the one against The Undertaker either as i don't think that anyone outside of Triple H would have put absolutely everything into the match like The Undertaker did because The Undertaker is known to be very close to Shawn Michaels now so wanted him to have as great of a send off as possible.
