- THIS SATURDAY, September 24th, 2011 is a date that will go down in ROH history. It is a huge day for everyone including former ROH owner Cary Silken, new ROH COO Joe Koff, the entire ROH roster/staff, and of course the fans of true professional wrestling. The new Ring of Honor television program debuts this Saturday across the Sinclair network of stations making it easier then ever for wrestling fans around the world to follow ROH. As you know Ring of Honor is synonymous with the best-in-ring action in the sport and contains the most athletic and physical pro wrestling bouts that you will see anywhere today. This is not old-school wrestling, and it’s not sports entertainment. This is wrestling for the 21st century that incorporates a variety of wrestling styles performed by fresh, young competitors. The ROH television show will be available through syndication and you can check out the list of stations here: http://www.facebook.com/ringofhonor#!/ringofhonor?sk=app_182969451746898. If you’re local market does not carry the ROH television show then be sure to catch the entire program for FREE on ROHWrestling.com. Spread the word!!!

- And check out these last minute words from Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team about their World Tag Title defense against The Kings of Wrestling:

- “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards and “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett were promoting ROH in Baltimore all day yesterday at the FOX studios talking about Ring of Honor, the style, the stars and the TV debut.

- ROH “Death Before Dishonor IX” has received rave reviews we want to thank everyone who purchased the event live on iPPV as well as the replay. We showed once again that ROH is the finest wrestling company in the world and if you missed this amazing event you can still watch it on GoFightLive at http://www.gfl.tv/Events/Fight/Wrestling/Ring_of_Honor___Death_Before_Dishonor_IX/1146!

- We have received an update and the injuries sustained in Ladder War 3 to the All Night Express and the Briscoe Brothers have regressed slightly each day. It does not look as if Ladder War 3 will produce any career threatening injuries however the mental scars will never heal. It is impossible to come out of a Ladder War without any psychological trauma, however you also become a stronger wrestler both physically and mentally. This means that the All Night Express will be more qualified the next time you see them and the Briscoe’s will be more violent.

– Check out the latest ROH Video Wire featuring words from the All Night Express and the Briscoe Brothers immediately following their brutal Ladder War. Also the Embassy comments on the future and the Young Bucks explain what to expect from them in ROH.

- ROH officials are excited to announce that “Survival of the Fittest 2011” will take place on November 18th, when ROH returns to Dayton, Ohio! Last year, Eddie Edwards fought through a separated shoulder to become the 2010 “Survival of the Fittest” and earned a future title bout. At “Manhattan Mayhem IV”, with his ROH World Title victory over Roderick Strong, Eddie became to first man to successfully parlay his SOTF win into a championship. The precedent was set, and now, with SOTF 2011 on the horizon, the ROH roster is looking to step up to the plate. Andy “Right Leg” Ridge has already earned a spot in a qualifying bout with his victory over Grizzly Redwood during the “Death Before Dishonor IX” pre-show, bringing this young man one step closer to achieving his life’s dream. The rest of the men entered into the tournament, and their respective bouts, will be announced in the coming weeks so keep an eye on ROHWrestling.com for the latest details. Tickets for “Survival of the Fittest 2011” are on sale right here in the ROH Store (http://www.rohstore.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=149), and if you’re a fan in Ohio, make sure you catch the debut of Ring of Honor Wrestling starting this Saturday in that Dayton, Cincinnati, & Columbus areas (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/looking-for-ring-of-honor-on-sbg-networks/).

Good news about the ROH website.

Has me thinking, was the Steen angle with the forums a way to enable a forum redesign to happen to go along with the website too?

Makes sense, and would hope it's a bit more modern and updated than the one they have got at the moment, if so.

Maybe it was just a clever way to abandon the dead weight of that piece of shit forum. I'm sure a clever way could also be found to dispose of Mike Bennett.

I'm bitter that the most interesting topic in ages on that awful forum was locked after just a few pages and its OP got banned for daring to be condescending, even though he was on point about everything.

L.O.L

A nice tale you spin there.

It's not spin though. Haas & Benjamin have clearly lost a step since their days as Team Angle (and Benjamin working with the likes of Jericho, Christian, HBK, etc. on a regular basis) due to injuries and bitterness.

Oh, not that. I mean that was just another thread, nothing special.

He was trolling.

So he was trolling by just saying the truth in a condescending manner? It's not his fault if some uber-sensitive ROH kool-aid cunts can't handle it. They deserve to be toyed with like that for the amusement of someone superior like me.

He was trolling, truth or not, he wanted to stir people up on a forum. Truth is bedsid ethe point.

It is his fault since it was his intention. Trolling is sad enough, let alone the guy who gets off from watching trolling.

Superior in what way? The biggest ego? The lamest hobbies? The most warped mind?

That I can actually have higher standards of the shit I watch.

There is nothing wrong with trolling if you're skilled at doing it. Granted, it's not very difficult to troll an ROH forum.

Oh, elitism is cool. I know most the people on the forum watch a ton of other stuff. So besides not having a clue, what else do you do well?

It's still trolling, doing it well doesn't make it any differnet or better, just means the guy doing it is an even bigger prick.

It wasn't trolling. I was trying to argue a point I legitimately believe. Maybe with the intent of laughing at people who aren't as smart as me, sure, but I don't think that constitutes trolling.

It's not what you did, it's where and how you did it.

If I'd gotten intelligent, well-reasoned responses, I would have responded in kind. Instead I got "what??? you don't mean WGTT, right?" and "There is a PPV in a week and a half!"

Honestly, I don't care that I got banned, and ROH was well within their rights to do so. I just find it funny that they care enough to ban me to keep me quiet.

I just question your motives, because your comments fall on deaf ears. We get it. You don't like WGTT.

Who cares? ROH? The ROH fans? WGTT?

You can complain about Skylar from Breaking Bad all you want, the writers of the show aren't just gonna kill her off. Posting on a message board won't change anything.

The fact is no one cares about all these negative opinions. Post them on the ROH forum and you'll get banned. Post them hear all you want. We just shut them out.

the power of public opinion still means something to a company the size of ROH. nobody liked Brent Albright during the Claudio feud, he was gone shortly after. nobody liked Necro and the Embassy v2, they're gone. everyone hated the Aries-Delirious feud, Aries is gone and Delirious doesn't wrestle any more.

obviously my opinion alone doesn't mean anything. and I'm not trying to say I'm converting people or anything, but the more I tell people how much WGTT suck, the more likely it is that they'll start to see some of it themselves.

and keeping quiet is tacit acceptance, and I refuse to accept a company I love passing off awful wrestling as great.
