So, Ryback delivered a double backpack drop (Shell Shocked)to the jobbers. Afterward, Ryback led the crowd in a "Feed Me More" chant, which is slowly getting over.
They could have easily used some one like Cody Rhodes or maybe even Jack Swagger to do this but they didn't. So the reports that Jinder is being looked to as a potential star and is expected to get pushed are pretty much true, this feud might really help Jinder.

Does creative just do things to Swagger to rib him? Throw the United States Championship onto him back in mid-January and then take him off television for almost two months; have him work over Ryback for a bit, seem to set up a logical mini-feud with Ryback and then that is all utterly forgotten about, and instead it's Jinder Mahal who works the mini-feud with Ryback.

Is Swagger the most annoying guy who's ever existed backstage in WWE or what?

Yeah, they didn't do it with Cody Rhodes or Jack Swagger because Cody Rhodes and Jack Swagger aren't in a mini feud with RyBack that's gonna lead to them getting massacred by him in a minute.
Haha, time will tell. ;)

@DesoRaw - Yeah, tbh Swagger would've fit in good for this role as it did look like he was gonna end up feuding Ryback, but that's WWE for you. Happy that Jinder got the opportunity but.

Jinder Mahal is the best choice. It attracts more viewers in India because the mini-feud is quite similar to Bollywood movies, where the hero (Jinder) overcomes the big evil (Ryback). I mean we think that otherwise but India it is like that. Marketing strategy.

Quite a tweenerish thing for Ryback to do, make the save and then attack them himself. Seems like it could be an interesting feud. Hopefully neither man comes off badly when it ends because they're two bright prospects.

I like them both, but I hope Jinder goes over in the end. The guy is the next big thing, he'll be main eventing this time next year.

At first when they started this Mahal/Ryback feud I thought that it was just to build Ryback while Mahal eventually gets buried but it looks as if they are trying to build Jinder as well. Certainly interesting.

As I said before. I see the talent and potential in Mahal, but that is not main event level. I think he would made a good midcard heel. Possibly focusing alot on the US championship due to the foreigner gimmick. Mic Work he draws tons of heat and USA chants, Ring Work he has 10 years experience at only the age of 27. He can defiantly be utilized, but I will never see him as a WWE or WHC champion.
