I am certainly not suggesting something completely out of the ordinary, or massive. From what I can tell I just feel like he should have more to his character, appearance wise. Take for example, "Entrance Attire". At first it seems unimportant, but I find it to be relevant. This will sound silly, but a top hat, one glass bifocal(like the Monopoly Guy), and dressed like a distinguished gentlemen from the 19th Century. He already has half the gimmick going with his condescending, elitist attitude. No one ever seems to mention him when talking about using a fresh look.

Some of the greats changed their looks, or at least bumped up the appearance. Hogan, Austin, HBK, Macho Man, Sting, Lex Luger, etc. He is still strong in terms of overall character delivery and mic work. There just needs to be a fresh look going for him. His entrance music is great and also a classic. I honestly feel like he should show up in a Roles Royce with a driver opening the door for him. Allow him to have a personal assistant whom he talks down to all the time(NXT Sami Zayn). He is going stale right now and this is a strong way to freshen the character up a bit.

I think what they're doing with Sandow right now is totally intentional. They have stripped him of everything that made him interesting because they don't want him to succeed for whatever reason. He doesn't talk anymore -- he doesn't even wear robes anymore. He's just a bearded guy with classical entrance music now. Cena destroyed him.

He's brilliant on the mic but he just doesn't overall have what it takes right now. Maybe he should become a manager or just a promo guy for the time being (like Bad New Barrett, for instance).

Sandow is doomed for whatever reason and I can't see him with any other gimmick than his former one. The "intellectual savior of the masses" was his rightful persona. If anything, I would have taken that gimmick a step further and make him a "true prophet" that gets a chunk of the roster as his followers.

This. This guy's character and mic work are almost as good as Wyatt's. I don't understand why they don't want to push him. He can get heat and he's solid in the ring.

Yes. I've been practically shouting it for awhile. Finally, ONE other person has noticed that Sandow isn't pushed because his look is terrible.

Sandow used to be so cool. The robe, the flamboyance, the pink trunks, the long hair, he looked like a true WWE character. And he was over. He could be comedic and he could kick ass too. Why did WWE have remove all this? He's just a guy in black trunks now, it's sickening. His hair looks awful too, I have no idea why he cut it.

I don't think Sandow will ever go back to the way he used to be. I hate blandness. So I want him to get a new look, something colorful. Cena beating him truly did kill his career.

tbh, he was bland before. The pink trunks weren't much better than the black and the robe is an overdone thing in wrestling. Only thing distinctive about him was....well, lots of guys have long hair and beards nowadays so nothing, really.

It's his body that's the real problem though. Dude should get into DDP yoga or something. The generally flabbiness, combined with how bland he was overall, is why WWE doesn't care to push him.

The sad part about this is you had retired wrestlers going on twitter saying "stop complaining, this is an elevation for Sandow just you wait!" And look where he is now smh. Being a Sandow fan is frustrating but I guess I'll be patient

He probably should get a whole new look. I think it would do some good to either change his gimmick or add something to it. It seems like he's trying to become relevant again. He went from jobbing to Sin Cara to jobbing to RVD. I was surprised he said "You're welcome" during the match with RVD and it wasn't a squash match. He also stayed in the battle Royal for quite a while. So maybe Sandow can make a comeback.
