If you cant see the issue people have with Cody being shoehorned into his spot and leeching off of Sami's popularity you are the stupid one.
Who are these people that have an issue? Because crowd engagement is positive for Codys involvement across multiple cities where he has appeared on the tv shows. The Twitter and youtube comments again all show vast majority of positive feedback. Major wrestling podcasts are all in favour of how things are proceeding. I dont see any this narrative of there being an issue for Codys injection into the main event scene.

I enjoyed all of it on Smackdown last night. The Sami and Jey Uso confrontation and everything around it. KO for awhile had gotten stale and old and this reunion with Sami thing got me interested in him again. To me KO is the one that's benefiting from the Sami/Bloodline thing the most right now because away from it it's just him doing Stone Cold stunners to everyone like some unstoppable face. Also THAT is an example of why as a fan of Sami I don't want to see him beat Roman and win the title. They were already showing Sami being tougher than in the past last night when he was able to hold off both Uso's on his own for a minute. Anyway, Jey and Sami were great.

Cody was already over before he got involved with the Bloodline. He doesn't need Roman or Sami or whoever to be over. He is involved because he wants what Roman has and he needs help on his side to survive The Usos and Solo Sikoa.

If not Cody then it probably would be Drew McIntyre and while McIntyre has been involved with the Bloodline in the past I am pretty sure that a lot of the same people being negative of Cody would also be negative of Drew. "Why him? He is boring. His first reign was a flop. He is just leeching off of Sami and the Bloodline". No matter who it is they are going to get that criticism because it's Wrestling Forum, where people come to nitpick about wrestling.

And how is the Royal Rumble winner being “forced “ into a world title match? Where was Sami at the RR? Oh that’s right he was part of the bloodline .

So stfu with this crap, if anyone is forced it’s Sami who after kissing Romans and the bloodlines ass for a year all of a sudden is supposed to be this hero that should be put in the main event instead of the rumble winner . Gtfo with this

Ther was a lot different layers that made me like the overall segment:

*Jey telling Sami how betrayed he felt after Sami did what he did, after Jey stood up for him.

*Sami telling Jey that it was Jey's fault for what happened and that Jey chose to go back to Roman's abuse when he could have walked away.

*KO coming for the save. Sami stepping away from KO when he walked towards him because he wasn't sure what to expect, and then finally embracing him when KO hugged him.

*And lastly, as corny as it was, Cody looking like a proud papa in the back, lol.

I think they've done some to put why cody is involved.

Cody has connections with KO.. Sounds like KO hooked Cody up with Bullet Club when he went to Japan. That they brought that into the story is useful and helpful.

This whole thing is a strength in numbers situation. Everyone who has come close has tried to do it alone. So... why not have allies. A united front against a stable also makes sense.

Cody feuding with Roman is because Cody won the RR. They’re not forcing a rivalry out of it, it was an earned match.

Honestly when will people stop crying about Cody v Roman. It’s the best possible WM main event, and Sami vs Uso’s is the best possible feud for them as well.

Just deal with it man ffs. Cody Is hugely over by himself, he’s not piggy backing off anyone, nor does he need to.
You realise its fake right?

The shoehorned Cody into this by having him with the RR. How do you not get this?

You're acting like I said Cody isn't over or something.

I swear, wrestling fans try actually reading the shit you're responding too rather than just raging over some imaginary words you've put together in your head.

The issue, the people are people like me who prefered seeing more from the Bloodline / Sami story rather than having hand picked Cody inserted into it. Nowhere did I say the crowds are rejecting Cody or anything like that.

Yeh, it was quite good. But everything is happening, exactly as most people predicted months ago. This could have been gold if they deviated, once they realised they struck gold with Sami’s organic rise i popularity.

I am not saying he needed to replace Cody ... But he could have stayed relevant in the title picture, and not doing this tag rubbish.

Bro don’t ask such a dumb question, try to understand what I’m saying in response to someone else.

They haven’t forced this feud. (In kayfabe world now, just to help you see it clearly) A wrestler won the RR so becomes number one contender. It’s been that way for years on end, so the feud isn’t forced. Plus, he hasn’t been shoehorned - the whole world knew this would be the main event for nearly a year.

The only reason some people are getting pissy now is because the Bloodline story has been pretty good. And the armchair bookers think that means WWE should change the marquee match and prob the long term plans for after WM to have Sami beat Roman.

It’s dumb, it’s short sighted, and fortunately the people in the company have done it properly with Uso’s, KO and Sami. It’s a great match and story on that side.

Roman and Cody is a box office main event. It’s the best possible main event for WM the company has, and the crowd are into it. They brought it about the traditional way via the RR, and they’ve kept them apart to help build up anticipation really well.

The story is great and going exactly how i thought it would but it just proves that Sami Zayn doesnt belong in the title picture. Tag team titles is where he belongs. The man doesnt get a pop like he did a month ago. Raw and SD he comes out to crickets. He only got a huge pop in Canada because A. Hes from there. B.People will cheer everyone going after Roman Reigns because they want a new champion. Sami has not been getting the same reaction since his match with Roman.

The thing is Sami vs Bloodline story has continued, it's not like they completely side tracked it and shoehorned Cody in. Everyone and their mother knew Cody was winning Rumble and that Zayn would turn on Bloodline and fight Roman in Montreal. You stated Cody was leeching off of Zayn which is far from the case. Yes Cody has been inserted because of the Rumble win, but hasn't leeched off anything. Both Sami and Cody have gotten great reactions, the opposite of what most people thinking Cody would be booed. The logical thing to do was to group Cody, Sami, and KO together since they have a common enemy and with Roman not appearing regularly it makes sense

Whole thing just makes Cody being shoe horned and forced into this so much worse.

So much history and emotion there to play with when you have Sami, KO, Usos, and Roman...then there's Cody standing out like an albatross being forced into this angle, forced into the top spot and leeching off of Sami's popularity.
Spot on. It makes literally no sense to have Cody in this spot. It's like he was planned to win the Rumble a year before and they refused to deviate from original plan. They should have given Sami his moment in Montreal even if they ruined it the following Raw.

I agree with your last line but it is because WWE cut him off at the knees. It was Sami with the Bloodline that carried this whole thing. To me Cody is the same Cody as AEW it is just the fan reaction is different. Actually Cody is more of a bland babyface in WWE.

It's time for a new group of bad guys. The Bloodline should be done at Wrestlemania. Roman Reigns will probably go on a vacation. I think Jey Uso should be on his own. Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn should all be champions after Wrestlemania.

Fair enough. I agree about Cody in AEW being boring but the fans seem to like him in the E. I still think fans will turn on him after a few months like they do with every face
