It was a solid decision to have the long awaited confrontation between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso to close the show. You can feel the tension with both men in the ring firing shots at each other with so much animosity and built up rage they had towards each other to let it out and say what they feel about each other, then Jey Uso attacks Sami Zayn which Sami gain more offense to the point his brother Jimmy Uso helps out Jey Uso which lead to Kevin Owens making the save on his longtime rival and friend. The moment everyone was waiting for and that's Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens reuniting to a BIG ass pop. The Usos vs. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships has to Main Event WrestleMania Goes Hollywood on Night 1 but what are your thoughts??

Cody Rhodes played the meditator earlier in the show to reunite Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn but KO declines

Later in the night Sami Zayn and Jey Uso finally go face to face

Jey Uso attacks Sami Zayn, a brawl goes down then Jimmy Uso enters which leads to the return of Kevin Owens and the Sami & KO Show finally reunites

Cody Rhodes was the meditator and peacekeeper to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens mission accomplished

Yep great storytelling and the final pieces are coming together finally. Cody finally got his much needed backup so he doesn’t have to fight the bloodline alone and actually looks like a smart face instead of trying to manhandle everyone on his own. KO looked great bearing both usos on his own and Sami looked great finally confronting Jay and telling him the truth as it is .

Would love to see a 3vs3 on the last show before mania for the main event ending in total mayhem

Whole thing just makes Cody being shoe horned and forced into this so much worse.

So much history and emotion there to play with when you have Sami, KO, Usos, and Roman...then there's Cody standing out like an albatross being forced into this angle, forced into the top spot and leeching off of Sami's popularity.

I cannot understand why are some people criticizing Cody's involvement. Reigns has been the champion for so long because of his family. He knows at this point that even if you have Reigns beaten, the Usos or Solo are going to interfere and ruin the match. His interest in helping Zayn and Owens be in the same page so he's not alone against the whole Bloodline is freaking obvious.

It's weird that for a single person with common sense like @victorvnv, we have three guys not grasping the evident.

News flash, you're not a genius. Everyone knows this. It doesn't change the fact that Cody is out of place and is being shoe horned into a angle that would be better without him involved.

It's kinda getting old for me. They are dragging this out and it's getting a bit repetitive.

I just think you guys are a bit nitpicky. Cody has a reason to be involved and they need to put him over. And they showed him for like 5 seconds in the end, and that wasn't even the final shot of the show. I get you don't like him that much, but come on. And it's not like he tried to steal the spotlight in the first segment other than his "this is what people want" part.

I guess, since I never thought Sami could be a long term main eventer, I am not bothered by "Cody leeching off his popularity". He got over because he was the comedic counterpoint in the usually dead serious Bloodline and they nicely build his relationship with all its members. Could Sami's overness survive the storyline, when he moves on to less personal stories and the elements that made him popular might not work as great as a top face? I don't think so. So using Sami to elevate other people seems like the best use of him.

They are still using Sami bloodline storyline to prop up Cody this going to backfire big time after WM if they end bloodline storyline
What's Cody going to do stay over cry about his father every week 🤣
Fans have not yet turned on him because he is using Sami to stay over
No lol. Cody was and is getting pretty good reactions without Sami

This narrative of Cody gonna get booed is funny as hell 😂😂

It just shows quarter portion of IWC's opinion doesn't really matter since they are minority 😂

You do make some valid points, even though it wasn't bad but the storyline should be more about The Usos/Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens then Roman Reigns/Cody Rhodes separately. I think they added Cody into the storyline cause Roman is hardly there but I hope on Monday Night Raw we see another face to face confrontation with Roman/Cody absolutely going back and forth with each other on the mic, make it personal than it already was

Yeah, this. Did they actually make the match for WM last night? There's only two weeks left to go and they just keep dragging their feet and pussyfooting around with this crap.
I think it'll be made official on Monday Night Raw cause Kevin Owens is usually on that show also Roman Reigns is scheduled to be there, I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a big ass brawl.

People saying Cody's involvement feels forced is stupid. He's in a feud with Roman Reigns. It's in his best interest that he steps up and gets KO and Sami back on track together seeing as they both want to end the Bloodline. Cody's motives are pretty simple and logical here - get these two back on the same page to increase the chances of the Bloodline falling, which in return also helps his chances vs Reigns. There's actual good reasoning for this but people have a hate boner for Cody for some reason.

Cody feuding with Roman is where it feels forced. There's so much drama with the Bloodline/Zayn but nothing ever gets in the way of WWE pushing their hand picked chosen ones.

If you cant see the issue people have with Cody being shoehorned into his spot and leeching off of Sami's popularity you are the stupid one.

Cody feuding with Roman is because Cody won the RR. They’re not forcing a rivalry out of it, it was an earned match.

Honestly when will people stop crying about Cody v Roman. It’s the best possible WM main event, and Sami vs Uso’s is the best possible feud for them as well.

Just deal with it man ffs. Cody Is hugely over by himself, he’s not piggy backing off anyone, nor does he need to.

The build across the show was tremendous, and what an ending. Cody was definitely shoehorned in there a bit, sure, but it makes sense.

(1) Kevin had already repeatedly told Sami to leave him the hell alone making it sort of reasonable that you would have to get someone in there to bring them together.

(2) Cody having his own reasons for wanting to see the Bloodline get taken down makes him kind of the perfect choice to be the one. They probably should have done something on Raw to maybe set it up a little better so he didn't feel so shoehorned in, but whatever, it still works.
