Much as though I liked sabu sandman Tommy dreamer etc 20 years ago no one needs to be seeing them now. I have no idea what the connection is between Adam Cole and sabu and the most ridiculous thing about this segment was they the entire Jas bales out of the ring at the sight of him. 5 v 3 and the three are two midgets and an old man who can barely walk anymore. Just such a ridiculous spectacle. I was was waiting for next 2 guys to arrive even things up and they never came and jas bales out anyway. Just nonsense !

On one hand.. Great to see Sabu get a nice payday and recognition.

Wednesday night, they didn't have to. Sunday night, they might though, to try and help Jericho win.
2- Always possible that Sabu turns on Cole and costs him the match. Which could later explain why Jericho didn't want to mix it up.. he wanted to buy Sabu's loyalty and have an ace up his sleeve instead.
It would of made more sense to have the early AEW shows at ECW arena or Hammerstein Ball and brought out the ECW guys as cameos, they should probably tour those venues for House Rules shows

it was a one off pop for the sake of popping people. There’s no tie between Adam Cole and Sabu. There’s barely one between Jericho and Sabu.

It’s cool to see Sabu, being a fan of his from 25-30 years ago, but surely he could’ve been brought in, in a way that made more sense. He didn’t fit here and feuds become clusterfuck-y when stuff like this is introduced.

It was a bit of an odd placement, but a hometown pop and a pay day for Sabu. - who can be annoyed at that.
I admit I was surprised to see Sabu. It was a holy shit moment for him. All of it died down once I realized this dude looks too old to wrestle. Makes zero sense to see him with Adam Cole.

2nd, yes, it is very hypocritical of Mr. Khan to ban Hulk Hogan from AEW for internet points and yet allow Sabu to come in.
And 3rd, this is clearly only happening because Khan is a massive ECW mark.
