When The Authority debuted, it was supposed to be this big heel force and instead all we got was Randy Orton and Kane and Seth Rollins, later Kane, Rolling and J and J Security.

Where were the heavies? Where were the enforcers, or the tag teams?

WWE haven't done anything with Sheamus and Barrett the last year or so, when they could have been great additions to the authority, thankfully we now have those two, plus Rusev which makes the authority look really stacked with heavy hitters. If only we had Rollins still involved :crying:

But i'm glad The Authority finally has a line-up of guys that make it look legit. Not 2 non wrestlers, an almost 50 year old and the corporate champion.

Oooooohhhhhhh if Sheamus loses the title before Wrestlemania I would LOVE to see that match at Mania 32!!!

Sheamus, Barrett, Rusev and maybe someone like Mark Henry v The Wyatt family.

That'd be a great undercard match, plus we rarely get big tag team matches with story behind them at wrestlemania.

I agree. Barrett is by far the best of the group and it's tragic how he has been treated over the years.

Of the 4 people involved (Barrett, Rusev, Sheamus, and Reigns) the least talented are by far the champion and the challenger.

The authority should have ABSOLUTELY added members throughout the past 3 years (holy crap, we've been doing this angle for almost 3 years now).

Triple H, Rollins, Kane, J&J makes sense. I have no problem with that, but yes they should have had a "tag team representative" (Ziggler + anyone), and a divas representative (bellas, so freakin' obvious).

It would have been better if Rusev had transitioned to this after losing to Cena at 'Mania. Instead they had to job him for three ppvs in a row for no valid reason. Barrett could have been a natural addition as far as back as his Bad News days.

It is a nice group, but the least good of the trio is going to have the better two eating losses to build up his feud vs Reigns. You also know there is a possibility of Steph demeaning Barrett and Rusev if they lose. Which they will. Added to The Authority being staler than two month old bread and I don't really see much good coming from this anymore.

On one hand, I think it's pretty good that Rusev and Barrett are getting a good spot on the show, and I'm over my annoyance at Sheamus winning the title and just enjoying as I see it, so overall it's a fine thing and I think it's a good use of talent;

despite the fact I think those 3 would work better as members of The Authority behind Rollins, but it is what it is.

However, I can't take many more 20 minute of those promos at the start of Raw. I'm growing an actual dislike of Stephanie and it's grating on me; I have always been able to separate character from performer but with Stephanie and those promos, and by extension HHH, it's really turning me off them to the point where I can't stand them. I had got over Survivor Series and thought, because I love wrestling and I'm quite easily entertained, I'd give it a go, but then straight away Triple H and Stephanie came out and it's just the same tired formula.

I'm all for Sheamus, Barrett & Rusev as the muscle of The Authority, but I think I'm tired of HHH and Stephanie where I just want it to end.

It would have made more sense for the WWE to have had Reigns feud with Rusev over the United States title with Reigns winning that title. Instead they went with John Cena? Rusev coming out last night made very little sense creatively. Why are Sheamus and Barrett even together?

The Authority needs to end now. It's beyond stale. The management vs talent angle was a novelty once or twice. But now it's a never-ending stream of watery shit. All because first Vince and now HHH just can't keep their mugs out of the spotlight, like they think they're the only way to get talent over. It's so tired, and it doesn't fucking work -- especially when you have a stip match where they're finally gone and then they're back two weeks later with no explanation as to why.

Just. Go. Away.
