Rumor: Vince Wants a Cruiserweight Show

- There has been chatter within WWE of expanding Saturday Morning Slam. Details are sketchy but apparently WWE is hoping the CW Network will give them an hour on Saturdays so they can air another TV show.

That show would be a show focusing solely on cruiserweights with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara being the stars of the show. This show would see a lot of the indy talents that WWE has been looking at over the past year and a half.

It’s said that Vince McMahon is high on the idea of a cruiserweights TV show.

I hope it happens. Cruiserweights are awesome.
Vince's going crazy. All these investments are doomed to fail and lose millions of dollars in the process.
Why cannot they incorporate time for curiserweights on the 3 hours of drivel raw serves up?
"Rumor: Vince Wants A Cruiserweight Show" has been going on for well over a year now...
Would be an interesting concept. Although it's really overkill how many shows WWE are making right now.
This has been a rumour for a while, instead now it's the idea of putting it on TV rather than the WWE network.

I doubt this will happen, but if it does, it would be fantastic if WWE actually get some workers from the indys in for a couple of appearances and have some matches.
Yeah, please put all the midgets on that crappy show and put REAL superstars on RAW and SmackDown.
Instead just introduce Crusierweight Championship in Three Hour Raw

Respect the Brand Split-Smackdown superstars should be on SD and not on Raw
More time for the cruiserweights will always get my approval but why only as part of the Saturday morning show? I have nothing against the idea of putting together an hour of kid-friendly daytime programming but I'd much prefer to see a cruiserweight division added to Raw. Could we have both?
This has been rumoured for about 18 months. Great reporting Wrestlenewz. Keep driving those clicks.
In my eyes, they need to focus more on making SmackDown less awful, and to be honest... RAW isn't that great anymore. RAW is 3.5 hours of complete garbage usually, with about half an hour of decent entertainment. SmackDown is always poor now. The shows aren't balanced anymore, I know RAW is #1 but I don't think they should just completely ruin SmackDown.

Not sure if I'm the only person to think this.
How many goddamn shows do they need? holy fuck
RAW
Smackdown
NXT
Cruiserweight Show

That's all the WWE needs. There are / will be too many weekly shows.
Already posted numerous times in this thread, how about a cruiserweight division and giving air time to them on Raw and SmackDown instead of introducing a new show. What is next? A show for tag teams and divas?
RAW
Smackdown

They don't "need" a cruiserweight show. Sounds like an excuse to get out of actually using most of the smaller guys on Raw/Smackdown while still pretending to appease the fans of that sort of thing. Kind of like the concept behind "Main Event" being giving the midcard something to do so they don't take up recap/advertising time on Raw.
Great news. Send Punk and Bryan there as well.

Kevin Nash is that you?
Old news. And yeah, it would be great to have a cruiserweight show.
