Rollins VS Ziggler for the IC Title?

Okay, since Ambrose is out of action and Miz already received his rematch clause, Rollins and Ziggler have no one to feud with. I would want to see those 2 feud with each other. A feud between those two wouldn't be so hard to write since they already had a few matches against one another.

Also this feud will elevate the status of the IC championship since we have a former world champion (Ziggler) and a future world champion (Rollins) fighting for it. This would also be a great way for WWE to "test the waters" to see what Rollins can do in feuding for a championship.

It would be an incredible match but Rollins is still feuding with Ambrose and there is no way WWE should have their MITB holder to lose against the IC champ unless they are eventually legit trying to up the prestige of it again.

Sure, Rollins picking up the IC Title will be a nice stepping stone to the WWE World Title... Nothing with Dolph Ziggler intrigues me though, so this feud doesn't matter to me if it happens or not.

I really don't know who either Rollins or Ziggler will face at NOC but definitely not each other. Rollins doesn't need the IC Championship so why would he even want it? Ziggler will probably defend against Miz again or somebody random.

Well it's not like Rollins is going to cash that shit in anytime soon. Ambrose is gone for the time being, why not feud for the title? He doesn't need to win it, but needs to be in contention for it. Besides, if he did win it, how awesome would be for all three former shield members to have a triple threat for it in a TLC match in December? Rollins can drop the strap and stay strong because he has the case, Ambrose can stay looking good by putting on a great match and just being Ambrose (losing in a blaze glory basically), and Reigns can get momentum heading into the Rumble and WM31 (which will lead to rumors of Rollins cashing in right after Reigns beats Lesnar. If Levi's Stadium had a roof, it'd be blown off at the first ever WM cash in).

Either way, with or without Rollins in the mix, the IC title needs to be a priority. Looks to me like Zigs is just keeping the belt warm as a babyface to send to Bad News Barrett when he comes back. That's fine, but WWE can do so much more with the IC title. I read so many other great ideas here to fix the mid card, it boggles my mind what WWE actually does in practice to shit all over it.

No thank you to this. They seem to be pushing Rollins as a top heel for the future and they really can't have him lose at this point. As to Ziggler he just won the IC title, let him keep it for a while.

Lend Ziggler some credibility as an "old school" IC champion type. Let him go over Miz at NOC. Line up some challengers that could put on entertaining matches like Stardust, Fandango, Tyson Kidd, and Christian (if he still exists). Build the mid-card title and make it seem like all the mid-carders are gunning for him.

Rollins will be involved with Reigns as a way to keep the Reigns vs. the Authority storyline going.

Not going to happen, thankfully. Ziggler is Rollins' bitch at this point, the longer they're kept the fuck away from one another, the happier I am. I hate to see Ziggler continuously lose.

This, except w/ different opponents. Cesaro, Sheamus (title unification), Henry, Kofi, maybe someone from NXT. Hopefully they keep the likes of Stardust and Fandango far away from the title. They've got comedy gimmicks, doesn't really feel all to legitimate w/ them chasing the title, and I'm sure the WWE would make a feud involving either of them p bad.
