If i got it right, the time where he breaks the record is the very day Hell In A Cell takes place or the day after. So when he wins over Kane he would have done it.
Could this probably fuel the feud between him and Triple H that leads to the, I'd say, inevitable confrontation between them? Maybe he tries to have Sheamus cash in for the title and fail all in the hopes of trying to stop his record being broken?
The ratings being like these are not really Rollins fault. Also Rollins is rather made at this point, he was built up well leading up to his cashing in of the title. His booking afterwards as well as his storyline/character could have been handled better. But it is not his fault.
The creative team seems oblivious at the moment and so they just keep the awful bookings going on.
I doubt HHH is cognizant of the number, so I imagine they will just go the route that HHH takes it upon himself to deal with Seth as he is thrown out of The Authority.
