Why did they never follow up the rumble 96 match after Razor dropped the IC title?

I thought he would have got a rematch at WM12!

Did Vince know he was going to sign with WCW and decided to keep him off WM12?

Would be interested If anyone knew

this was one of the reasons why Razor left for WCW. He was one of the biggest stars in the company and they put him in a feud with a gay Goldust. Sending gay letters to him... Jesus Christ!

I wished he would have won it back at WM12 in a grudge match like piper.
He could have dropped it afterwards to someone else when he was on his
way out of WWE

Hall was originally scheduled to face Goldust in a rematch for the title at WrestleMania XII, but Hall was suspended by the WWF due to his drug use. Piper was his replacement.

The Goldust angle, the suspension and the shitload of money Bischoff was offering him were the reasons he left the WWF.

They could had still worked a match at wm12 as Hall was under contract. As hall was going to Wcw Goldust could have gotten another win and could been a great match

I heard Hall didn't want to do the rematch because he was uncomfortable with the homosexualness of the angle.
