How do you rate Demolition and what are your thoughts of them as a team? Demoliton were originally WWF's answer to Road Warriors, who before the Warriors came to WWF. They made Demolition, who stood in as the powerhouse tag team at the time. The team was made up of Ax and Smash, with Crush joining them later. They spent years dominating the tag division during the golden era of tag wrestling in WWF and later had a long anticpated fued with Road Warriors/Legion of Doom after they came to WWF. Eventually the team dispanded in 91 and the wrestlers went their seperate ways. So what are you're thoughts?

I liked Demolition much like I liked Road Warriors. But I always saw them as the lesser ones given that they were a copy of the Warriors. Of course that being said, Demolition deserve credit where it's due because they were a good tag team, and as said before they helped the tag divsion during it's golden era as the powerhouse tag team. They were ok in the ring but together they were a unit and had good chemistry and presence in the ring. They were also quite popular in their hayday, but apperently after LOD signed with WWE their popularity declined which is another reason why I see them as the lesser team.

My rating of them is a 9. As said before they were great but I just saw them as a carbon copy of LOD and a lesser team.

9, a slightly not as good version as LOD. And had cool music.

I hate Demolition too. So I gave them a 2. The only reason they didn't get a one is because, unlike today, they did look like a tag team. Granted, poor man's verion of the Road Warriors.

They also had some of the worst moves I have ever seen (the stupid terrible looking double fist to the back while the opponent is on the stomach).

and personally, I hated their song.

Definitely a 9 and they were better than LOD. Much better wrestlers and more successful for the simple fact that they were the top team in the top organization. Even back then it was unheard of for a tag team to hold the tag titles for as long as they did.

The gimmick would look dates and gay as hell today but back then they were as badass as you can get. Vince totally buried them once he finally signed the Road Warriors and I'll never understand why. The rip off gimmick actually surpassed the original and also a proper LOD/Demolition feud was the dream feud for tag teams in those days.

HERE COMES THE AX! HERE COMES THE SMASHER! They were alright, I liked erm, more of an LOD fan though.
