Yep, it's been long enough already! Hopefully, you folks enjoyed watching Fyter Fest earlier this week. However, don't let that distract you from the fact that it is now time to rate another classic superstar. I'd like to thank the many of you for participating in my previous threads. Remember that all of your votes DO matter, but please just try to be objective. Let's also try to get as many responses here as possible now

Shawn Michaels ended up being ranked at 1st place in the classic section so far. Unfortunately for HBK, the ratings for his mic skills and look/presence did hurt him slightly. However, the Showstopper did score great ratings for his in-ring ability and his charisma. As of right now, HBK has the best ratings for all his qualities out of anyone ranked so far in the classic section (WOW! )

Io Shirai ended up being ranked at 12th place in the section for the women. Unfortunately for Io, the rating for her mic skills hurt her drastically. However, she did receive a pretty damn good score for her in-ring ability. It turns out that Io is now tied with Kairi Sane and Ember Moon at 2nd place for having the best score in terms of in-ring ability compared to the rest of the women rated already.

Bret was never a physical specimen, but the pink and black + the sunglasses is so iconic. If you watched him as a kid, you know how cool he was for the time.

Ring Skill: 10/10
You can probably name at least 5 wrestlers who had the best match of their carreer against Bret. From his 91 summer slam match against Mr. Perfect to his bloody brawl with Stone Cold, Bret was flawless.

Mic Skills: 6/10
Whenever he said something scripted, he was incredibly wooden. But when he truly meant what he said, he was much better. I guess you could say he was a good talker, but a horrible actor.

Charisma: 8/10
He never had that over the top charisma that Hogan/Savage/Flair possesed. But he had something. Bret was far more calm and assertive, and I think it helped him stand out from the big stars of the previous era.

Always had a marketable look since the days of him being a cowboy in WWE :lol. He makes the pink and black work when most couldn't. He does have a great presence and required you to take notice whenever he is on screen. He struggled with feeling like a main eventer in his first run as WWF champ but soon got it afterwards.

In-Ring: 9

He can brawl (Austin), can have a grappling classic (Owen), can carry someone to a good match (Hakushi - Hakushi sucked BTW, don't lie), have a great David vs Goliath match (Diesel). He can be very versatile even though he is set in his ways. His stuff looked crisp most of the time and he can sell well, although he does have his moments when he refuses to sell (Michaels at WM 12). One of the great wrestler in WWE history but only the best of the best get 10/10 and he just misses that mark

Charisma: 8

Like I said with the presence, you always had to take notice of him. He was a big draw in Europe so he has that in his favour. He isn't outwardly charismatic in terms of promos or anything but he makes up for it with his facial expressions, body language, etc.

Mic Skills: 5

Great year for promos in 97 but he is usually very, very bland or just simple. It works for him so whatever

The more I watch, the more I appreciate the work Bret put into portraying a multi layered wrestling character that transcends time.

He had a very special connection with the fans and brought the big fight feel no matter who his opponent was.
