WEC's sig it too tall. 
I like the idea with the text, but it looks almost cheap or something the way you did it. Maybe add a white stroke at 1 pixel on the outside to make the text stick out more. It won't do much, but might help out a bit.I agree with OZ, spice up the background. Not overly bad though.
