Actually, most people have overrated their X-Seven match so much that it's considered one of the greatest matches in WWE history around here.

What was bad with that match? It was one of the greatest, it showed us how a main event should be done and how both men cudn't beat each other as they were equals thats why Austin needed McMahon's help.

Who said it was bad? I ranked it number 1. But it's not one of the greatest matches of all time, as many people here would lead you to believe.

I'll admit, the match itself, in a vacuum, is not that great. But the build-up was terrific, and good build-up is a large part of what makes matches good, as you become emotionally invested in the match. Probably one of the best build ups for a match ever.

The buildup is overrated too. It sold b/c it was Rock and Austin at their peaks.

Not that any of them were particularly bad, but their matches at 17 & 19 were insanely brilliant pieces of story telling that can only come from two of the greatest superstars in all of professional wrestling.
