Punk got 5 minutes of mic time? What are you talking about? He went on a full out shoot, and he is extremely lucky to be in his position that he is in. It could have been anyone doing that shoot, Ziggler, Bryan, Orton, and they would have gotten over just as big. Shooting is not Hard, Joey Styles did, Taz did, Samoa Joe did, Paul Heyman did it, but apparently when punk did it, it was revolutionary lol. Orton's heel work 2005-2006 and then 2008-2009 is much better and bigger than Punk ever did. No doubt about it.
But now with Punk turning heel again, and Cena and Orton/Sheamus carrying the RAW and SD brands on the road, there's no reason to turn Orton. Punk wasn't the successful babyface star they wanted so he turned, they can't afford to do it with Orton now, especially when the roster is so thin.
