Tonight, as I type, Sheamus has shown up when he's supposed to be kayfabe injured. So much so, that his championship match for Summerslam was "cancelled". After showing up injured and running Del Rio out of the ring (while injured), he demands that the championship match be reinstated.

QUESTION: Am I the only one who was annoyed at Sheamus' presence tonight?

I feel that a bit of damage was done tonight after there was so much opportunity with this scenario. By merely showing up the way he did, Sheamus not only made Del Rio look that much weaker ...but I'd have loved to see Booker stick to his guns and not cave to the talent. He still handled his position well because he's only the kayfabe GM, but it was very disappointing for me to hear Sheamus' music tonight.

His absence did so much more for this storyline tonight (helping to solidify Del Rio as a "real threat"), if only he stayed absent. How do you feel?

WWE refuses to let Sheamus sell anything and it's completely ruining any feud that he gets involved in. WWE is so focused on making Sheamus a strong face that they forgot that in order for it to stick there has to be an equally strong heel. If not, the face won't be as over as he should be. And that's exactly what is happening with Sheamus.

I didn't think any less of Del Rio because Sheamus showed up. I did think less when he was getting whooped by an injured (lossing so many PPV matches) Jericho.

so were supposed to believe someone who lost to Sheamus a few times can't beat Jericho? Excuse me, Y2J who hasn't won a major match since his return and got attacked by Ziggler, whom was attacked a 2nd time by Ziggler, came close to beating an 'out of control' Del Rio.

I don't think they give a damn about this feud; as long as Sheamus looks strong.

No, he just can't fucking sell. He can't sell, he blows up faster than anyone else on the roster, and he gets a lukewarm reception at best.

Unless he's selling being blown up, in which case... best ever!

WWE don't like to have any of their top stars miss a main show, unless they're genuinely injured or something. Storylines? Pah, screw that. Get Sheamus out there for 5 minutes, horribly no sell that arm injury and have the fans go home happy.
