I want to take my dad to go see Extreme Rules, but he asked me to wait to buy the tickets to see if he can get the day off.

How long are the $20 tickets usually available for? When should I expect a sellout if there will in fact be one?

I've never been to a live wrestling event, what should I expect that I haven't seen from watching on tv?

If there is any other information that you think I should know please tell me.

If your going to wait until the day of or a few days before, I would suggest stubhub. You can usually find people dumping tickets for half price who suddenly can not attend or were trying to make some money on the tickets and couldn't move them.

It's SO much different. If you've ever been to a sporting event, like a football or hockey game, it's sort of like that. You feel the energy and are part of the experience. Plus you have the opportunity to take in all the little nuances that come with being in the live audience like being able to look where the camera isn't and see guys setting up pyro for an entrance or little segments that take place in between commercials.

The "weirdest" thing to strike me whenever I see wrestling LIVE is that you don't actually hear the colour commentators talk. I don't know why, but that was hard for me to get used to.

But yeah it should be pretty simple, you'll probably see a dark match that you haven't seen from watching on TV, but beyond that it's pretty simple and you'll probably have a lot of fun, nothing beats live wrestling.

What they should do is create a smartphone app that allows you to hear the commentary while you're watching the event live.

Nowadays, WWE sellouts for events other than the Big 4 PPV's are rare. So you can probably buy tickets even up to the actual date of Elimination Chamber
