We are in desperate need of a good heel stable. The faces are running all over heels at the moment and there isn't a credible one out there. Punk needs to form a new stable and they need to be made to look dominant. Not like the new nexus where everyone was treated like shit and they were getting buried all over the place.

The "stable" tag team would dominate the current "tag team division" since there currently aren't any tag teams except R-truth and Kingston.
Kofi/Truth
Hawkins/Reks
Primetime Players
Kidd/Gabriel
Epico & Primo
Primetime Players
The Ascension
The Usos
Hunico & Camacho

Punk has proven he can be a great leader to a stable, but the problem was that WWE never let him have as much power as he should have with those respective groups. If they were to give him a band of "henchmen" so to speak...perhaps some other guys who's roots are on the Indy scene...that could possibly work.

However, I think at this juncture, Punk really should be a lone wolf. He proved as a babyface champion that he is capable of holding his own, so I don't think that aspect of his character should change now that he is a heel again.

If anyone should have a stable behind them, it should be fucking Wade Barrett, once he returns.

its obvious nash is going to join whether we like or not so i would have it as;
punk: leader/co main eventer
randy orton: co main eventer, however he should drift off on his own from time to time and irritate punk, which could lead to an eventual feud
heyman: manager, with lesnar on hand to help out occasionally which could cause more problems within the stable
nash: legend
ryback: enforcer
Ambrose: young star
Rhodes: tag team/young star
Barrett: tag team
some fit diva: stable whore

This would be a good stable because ironically it is unstable with all the egos in the stable which could lead to good story lines within the stable as well with the havoc it will cause.

I had actually discussed the idea of Punk getting a stable the other day, until it got merged into the heel turn thread, which I'm still a bit irritated by seeing as it wasn't speculation-based or anything just a detailed idea on a possible stable which imo was thread-worthy at the least. Rant over.

Anyway, I'd like to see it. Punk has been champion for 8 months now. Start off solo to keep it fresh, then gather a stable to really keep it fresh. Simple. People here are as against stables here as they are for turning everyone heel :p But as long as WWE booked it right (which I reckon they would with Triple H there. Talk about experience!), it would really help push RAW through the autumn/winter and into Wrestlemania season.

Considering Punk has indeed been a fighting champion and we've seen him take on people head-to-head countless times, a stable would really be ludicrous. You can't just make him a coward when the audience have seen him constantly defending his belt. And only chickenshit heels tend to use stables, the only exception being Triple H - and the writers clearly have no desire to book Punk as brilliantly as Trips was during 2000.

To be honest, I would love another Punk stable. Have Wade Barret become a member, wanting guidance when he returns. It's not like Vince wants Wade to be a huge heel when he returns or he would of put the WWE championship on him when he was captain of the NEXUS. I know this would never happen but I would love it for Rey Mysterio to also turn heel. That would be very interesting character wise, complaining how he was only champion for an hour thanks to Cena and how him and Punk are the saviors of the wwe universe, away from the Rock and Cena.

That's what Punk got during SES & New Nexus: Henchmen.
